I made up this sort of quick release set up for winching my tool box(s) on trailers. It's basically made up of a #2000 warn winch and a 1" tube and a fabricated piece to slip over the receiver as to stop the winch of pulling forward. The round 1" tube slips into the hole that's in the center of the bumper and the "U" shaped piece slips over the receiver( as seen in picture). For power I used 1 gauge welding cable run to the front connected to the battery. I used a quick connector on the truck then added the same to the power cable on the winch. Works perfectly.........
