It always "shows" the passenger side, doesn't mean that particular lamp is out.

Also check the driver's side, and don't forget the 3rd brake light. This seems to be the most frequent.

I wouldn't change a thing and just be glad someone knows how to write an abbreviated search prompt even if this isn't a search engine

don't forget the 3rd brake light. This seems to be the most frequent.

^^ This ^^ It's almost always my 3rd brake light!

Few weeks ago I decided to NOT be lazy and do the little "upgraded" seal on that fricke'n unit too... only took about 45mins to take it all apart and properly seal it up...

I decided to try out all L.E.D.'s -- got them all from (sing it with me, now!) O-O-O-O'Reilly's --> ...AUTO-PARTS!

They are most definitely brighter than the factory bulbs!

Warlock has the led brake lights, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's a led or 2 out that's triggering the warning.

I have had that warning twice on my 2015 2500. First time it was bulb in the back of cab over the bed.
Second time, nothing wrong, everything working. I Googled the issue and found that you can remove several fuses and put them back in to reset something(don't remember what...hell, I'm old). The warning went away.

My 2017 (6.7) told me that too. 7 yrs after I broke the plastic. The tape had come loose and had water in it. still worked fine. I happened by the dealer, he told me to check 3rd brake light over the back window. They are notorious for leaking ( into cab as well) but it was fine. I bought after market pair of lights for 89.00. worked fine after replacement. Warning left too.
