Ok this is going to be a pain for the dealer to find I'm sure so I will do what I can to determine where is coming from first. So my first thought is to ask you folks here. The rig is a 2019 3500 dually bought new. The leak is a slow drip during rain showers that drips from the upper face of the dr side grab hande at the upper edge of the leather wrapping (Longhorn package) anybody have this problem by any chance? Next I will cover the sunroof and see what that does. Then run a bead of clear silicone around the bases of the roof light, We are in PNW so will have plenty of rain days to find it before I take it in. Has to be roof lights, sunroof or the Dr side roof joint above the door right? Thanks for any help / suggestions

Leaking clearance light? Mine would leak on my old 2500 but never when new. Unless the gasket underneath is crimped.

CHMSL gasket. Common issue.
This is probably the most common cause, but honestly it can be anywhere that there is an opening in the roof metal and is sealed with a gasket. Usually when the CHMSL gasket is leaking, the water will drip down the back of the cab.

People often suspect the sunroof, but it rarely is. Sunroofs are designed with water intrusion in mind. There is a tray which collects the water that gets past the glass, and there are drains in each corner of the pan to get the water outside the cab. Problems with sunroofs happen when these drains become clogged or drain lines aren't properly connected.

Since you're seeing water at the front of the cab, I'd suspect either the clearance lights or sunroof drains.

I would entirely avoid using silicone sealer. I know I've used it in the past not knowing or understanding what an absolute nightmare it causes should you ever need body and paint work done anywhere near where you used it.

Even trace amounts of it will ruin paint work.

Hopefully it's just the 3rd brake light. I know mine was leaking on my 2019 when I bought it used, less than a year old with 15K miles on it.

My 2017 leaked from about a year old too. It's unreal how much water will get in from this stupid design and how far it will run.

14 miles when I grabbed her Friday, and found two problems today.

A. Rear head rest are different materials
B. Water leak in the head liner.

Third brake? Moon roof? Guess we will find out Thursday when I drop it off.

How many others are having this experience?

That's not very encouraging @Musky Mike

Maybe I should just dump the truck and get a hellcat? They probably pretend to be fake ass water balloons too. I'll bet with the tan interior, they spray a chemical cleaner on and call it good. SMH!!! Love the truck but am second guessing I'm favor of lemon

Quite a few posts on here about the leaks, they do tend to steam clean the headliner and reinstall it. Some trucks have had a lot of rust on the back seat mounts and there is some electrical equipment under the rear seats that affect starting of the engine. I would use the search function and see what's happening to the other components that you can't see that got wet and make sure the dealer repairs them and not just the water intrusion problem.

2013 Ram Laramie Longhorn. Leaking into passenger pillar. I’ve removed the pillar, visor and can see the leak coming from the roof seam above the window. This drips down the the headliner to the pillar and water comes out the screw holes. I have a sunroof and can poor water in the drains and water comes out the front and back drain tubes no issues and no leak. I’ve removed the door seal and there are no screws or any evidence of a leak. Water tests produce leak from this seam when I run the hose over the rear portion of the sunroof. From the inside I can put my fingers in the sunroof rails that drain water to the tubes front and rear. No water in these rails. No water on headliner anywhere except an inch above the pillar on passenger side. And when it leaks I can see the drip from the roof seam, anyone else seen this issue?
