My 2014 Ram is leaking water in on both driver and passenger side grab handles. It has rained a lot here and i don't dive it but once every couple weeks but i have a ton of condensation on the inside every time I get in it. I also noticed it looks like it is developing some mold/mildew on the seats. Anyone else had this problem or know how to find/fix it?

my 15 leaked in from across the top of the windshield, I resealed it with clear windshield sealer from autozone and its fine. I hear the cab top lights leak too if you have them. condensation does build up in the crew cabs if a lot of rain and the truck sitting, mine did it once and after searching it found many have this happen with no leaks

About a year ago my '14 had water leak from the top of the passenger side door. It just suddenly happened after 4 months owning the truck. Went to the dealer for the warranty and got it back the next day all fixed up. No problems since then.

Mine also had a leak at the drivers side rear roof seam, took it to the dealer and got it fixed.

Hey I used the search function and found this thread!

Today it poured buckets in northeast Florida. After the rain I was driving my truck late this afternoon and when I stopped water poured from the driver 'oh ****' handle. I was like WTF! I know about the third brake light issue and I hadn't noticed anything from that yet. However I went out to my cab tonight and it does smell a little musty.... :(

I guess I'll be visiting the dealer for warranty... seems like I've been there a lot these days.

Sub'd this thread.

2014 ram 2500 limited roof leak on front passenger side. Water comes down the grab handle.

usually we need more info to help out

here goes:
3rd brake above rear window gaskets are known issue. use search feature to find DYI thread on how fix it.
Cab clearance lights, sunroofs, windsheilds also leak.
Isolate each, run water over one and only one, see if any comes in the cab. need two people for this and it will take time but is best method to figure out where water is coming from.

next up, do same fo each door.

let us know what worked

my 18 does the same thing, its waiting for a new 3rd brake light and rear power sliding window. Apparently, that makes the front windshield and pilars leak. Owning this truck is very frustrating!

Sorry to Hyjack this thread but my moisture is in the rear passenger seat storage area... I don't have any noticeable evidence of water from the third brake light from the inside at all... and my roof mounted antenna thing is on the drivers side... I have NO moisture in the rear drives side well...

Do i tear out the flooring to see if it's from somewhere else?? or can the 3rd brake light water travel undetected to the well

It can definitely travel across and downward undetected for a period of time. Eventually you'll see headliner staining towards the rear corners if it is indeed the 3rd brake light.

No staining yet but I guess I'll try to find that gasket posted somewhere in here and I have a new LED 3rd brake light on the way, I'll seal it up when I replace the light I guess... then wait.

Run your finger inside the 3rd brake light opening and lok for dirt on it when you pull it out.
Check your gasket carefully.

Good idea... when I pull it I'll give it a good inspect... I actually HOPE it's from there cuz otherwise I'll be stumped for a long time...
My gasket is okay, it's stuck to the light itself... maybe I can add a finger smudge of Vaseline before putting it back... that stuff works wonders.

look gasket can look fine but does not mean it is sealed. need to look for tiny dirt particles.
botton line, its a known issue, you have the thing off, just fix it according to the indtructions found on the gasket threads.

costs $5 and you KNOW t ain;t that part, no more, if the leaking continues.
