Today I went to clean out my truck and noticed water behind the seat. It rained a lot this weekend. I’m just wondering where the leak is?
I have a 2013 ram 1500 regular cab.

Third brake light on the back of the cab is a known leaking issue .

Hope this helps .

Possibly the third brake light? My Dakota had that happen and a friend with a Ford also had the same problem. My Subaru Outback also leaked around its third light after 5 years or so. The third brake lights are prone to leaking after a while. The manufacturers use a foam gasket that isn't worth a damn for durability, just light in weight to get the numbers up in the MPG department.

The brake light would cause water to get in the roof??
Any tips to fix it?

Take the third brake light off and run a couple of beads of silicon. This is a very very common problem. Some guys actually use some Marine grade weather striping that works very well by all accounts, and I hear it works better than silicone.

Gotcha.
Any tips on cleaning the headliner. Should I just let it dry out?

Is it even worth trying to get dodge to fix it. Replace headliner?

No doubt, as usual the 3rd brake light. Almost other brand truck suffered that problem.
Just remove the old seal and put a new one.
Lowes or Home Depot have them, a weather strip seal.

Mine is leaking again after a while, Florida weather is crazy. So I put a caulk around it, not the common Silicone but Silicone II.

Sat Antenna also caulked.

Yeah. It's a super common issue. I'd definitely be trying to get them to replace anything that was ruined. They know about this issue, and if they want to play hardball refer them to the forums.

If is a 2013 Ram probably won't cover the headliner. I just replaced my brake light when I seen a very mild stain on headliner that looked old, but decided to fix it fast. In past(never tried this on a Ram) but on RV with roof leak and stain on interior roof from water leak, I took a fine spray bottle, filled with hydrogen peroxide(cheap store stuff) watered it down about 25%, sprayed area with stain and let it dry, every time it did a great job. If you try this, use goggles or can get the peroxide in eyes. Stain i have is so faint I may leave alone or try peroxide. Peroxide turns to water after removing organic stains so is safe, just don't saturate area, I would do small area, light spray and test if ram says no. I can't think of any other options unless someone else chimes in with better solution. Hydrogen peroxide removed some dark black stains in ceiling of a rv I had many times, so well it wasn't even noticeable. I use it a lot now, no scrubbing, spray and let dry.

It is a stupid design they could have sealed up inside and not depended on that seal so much.

Easy solution. Here’s what I did on my last two Recon third brake lights. (Believe it or not the Recon gasket is even worse than the factory one.)

1. Buy this M-D Building Products 1033 All-Climate Auto and Marine Weatherstrip -inchAll-inch Strip, 10 Feet, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000I1QHA8?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

2. Peel off existing gasket

3. Apply the MD weatherstripping it sticks right on with the adhesive tape it comes with.

4. Screw your light back on.

Super easy fix and I much prefer the weatherstripping over using silicone because it’s a PITA to get it off if you use the silicone.
