So I rotated my tires for the first time last night. First time rotating my 35's and after the rotation took the truck for a quick drive. I noticed a rhythmic knocking sound coming from the front end. After inspection I noticed a weird looking "bolt" on the inside of the each wheel (all 4 wheels have them). This was slightly hitting the tie rod end as the tires rotated. After very minor filing on the "bolt" the sound went away as it was clearing the tie rod end at that point. Anyone know what the hell it is? TPMS sensor?

(Picture is from under the truck looking out)

Im Assuming these are not stock wheels? Some companies have two valve stem holes depending where you want to fill and if you want a clean valvestemless look. This is common. If it's a stock wheel im scratching my head, never seen that on stock vehicles.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Correct, they are aftermarket wheels. That makes sense. I've probably had 10 different sets of aftermarket wheels but I've never experienced this. Thanks again!

Not a problem, it's more common on street wheels.
