I have 2012 Ram Crew Cab with 44k miles and have an intermittent "bang" coming from under the truck. This is only happening under 30 mph and on somewhat rough roads. Sounds like it's coming from the driver side. I thought maybe the spare tire came loose but it's tight, checked the hitch, shocks, nerf bars, etc.... and everything appears to be tight. I did some 30-40mph "swerves" wondering if it was ball joints/front end and no noises there, but I still need to jack it up to check. Anyone have any strange noises under their trucks? Any ideas/suggestions on what to check would be appreciate! :favorites13:

^ what he said- possibly the strut- I would check all the front end stuff first-- so is it a bang like something is moving and slamming back or is it a poping like something is binding?

It is a bang, like moving and slamming. I do have the bilstein leveling kit set at 2.1, but it has only been on the truck for roughly 8,000 easy miles (mostly highway).
