Weird smell...

So. I have a Diablo Tuner with a custom hemifever tune. Have had it for awhile. Recently i've noticed when i go almost full throttle up a hill say passing someone i eventually start smelling a kind of burnt smell.. like burnt break smell, i don't exactly know how to explain it.. but i check the vehicle info in the EVIC, and nothing is over heating or abnormal i believe..So i'm trying to think what is going on? Truck has 49,000 miles on it. Any suggestions?

Does it do it with the tune removed?

My first thought was maybe a caliper hanging up, brakes have a very unique smell. My next impulse would be to pull the dip sticks and check color and smell of any fluid you can oil, transmission, and diff's if you can.
