After the first 1k miles the fluid looked just like motor oil (light brown), I just emptied it after another 1600 miles and it looked like chocolate milk...normal? I also noticed my hands smelled like gas, so could the blow by include a bit of gas?

That is normal. In cooler climates, you will get more condensation in the can which will turn it a milky brown color. It looks disgusting, so just be glad that it is no longer being dumped into your intake.

Mine is typically a nice neon green color... :p

Milky brown is no concern.

During the warm months mine looked like typical dark stanky used oil, since the weather has cooled off coming into winter, mine has also turned into chocolate milk haha. Glad to hear it's not just me

You all drive a lot more than me, or check it far more often than I do.
I guess I should check mine tomorrow.
