Huge mod alert!

New valve stem caps!

lol

I wasn't a fan of the cheap caps they put on my PC'ed rims/tires (they actually used 3 different sizes), so I went and looked at a local parts place, and their selection was pretty slim. I wanted something black, but not dice or the other few shapes they had available in that color, but they did have some chrome bullet ones for $6. I broke out the tape, color matched black paint, and something to mount them, which happened to be an allen wrench set. They came out real nice, and they match my .50 cal bullet antenna. My MOS in the Army was 55B - Ammunition Specialist. A bit of a homage to my time served.

Ordered a Viaair 88p compressor to replace my 10 year old Tsunami MF1050. Crazy ive never ever replaced the fuse on this thing and has inflated all my tires since I bought it included the KO 37's I had not long ago.

The fuse has melted inside the holder, lol I have no idea since when this thing has been like this but it keeps working without any issues. It'll be the backup for that Viaair which technically flows a little less air, but has a 25 min duty cycle so it should work just fine to air up my 315/70/17 tires.

I washed it, and cleaned the weathertechs. it really needs a solid buffing though. My hood is like sandpaper from the Wyoming trip

Wow almost 5yrs old and only 15k miles, that’s such a low mileage Ram. Good find.

Installed my 5” tips to try & fill some space created by the 1.5” bl. The mbrp tips I thought were 4” were actually 4.5” so not much difference but the black seems to less noticeable. Thank you to Nick at GotExhaust.com who helped me find the tips that would work with my cat back

you just need to loosen the clamps, and adjust the tips if you have the stock setup.

It’s super easy to adjust them. I just installed my 5” Carven tips earlier and I was able to adjust mine because my OEM ones were sagging badly from when I originally installed my muffler muffler delete. Then when I installed my carven competitor on Friday I didn’t adjust the stock ones but yea I just did that today, 14mm socket and takes 2 seconds.

I had a set of these in my 2012 Reg Cab and I loved them. They were a bit loose on the top half of the seat back but overall I was happy.

Wow this looks amazing! Are those the 2020 Ram 1500 hood vents?!? Do you have a template that you made to cut the hood? I’d love to pickup a used hood off Facebook Marketplace and try this out and if it comes out looking good then I’d paint the hood and install it. Let me know if you made a template for the cutout that you can share with me. Also, be sure to @ me when you post the final pics. I am definitely interested in seeing how this turns out and I might want to do this too.
