I’m in the middle of the bush with two main gravel/ice roads and the ice road on the River. I’ll take my time breaking them in. Don’t need it really until March break when I’m On the highways, by then, go time!Driving to break those gears in is no fun---you know the performance is there----you just can't use it--yet
LOL

Didn't have time to post it 3 weeks ago, did new brakes all around. Installed Power Stop Z36 pads, rotors and calipers.
They do feel great.
Last week drove frome north of Chicago to Peru, ME and back skirting the snowstorms.
Today ordered new sneakers. Yokohama Geolander A/T G015

Hopefully get rid of the rub strips and the rest of the handles next week some time
[emoji2960] At least you know the steps...I bought it back about a week and a half ago, and the lights, grill, and wheels were all replaced by my dad with chrome again.... I am slowly going to have to do it in stages again.
Looks good. I did this about 4 years ago. Sold the truck 3 years ago, I bought it back about a week and a half ago, and the lights, grill, and wheels were all replaced by my dad with chrome again.... I am slowly going to have to do it in stages again. It does look a lot better without chrome. I am just not a fan of it. I got the wheels back, but he didn't take care of them and a lot of the black came off.
Son finished putting stripes on my truck tonight. He did the hood a couple weeks ago.View attachment 237299 View attachment 237300 View attachment 237301 View attachment 237302 View attachment 237303
Ya, good thing my son loves meThat's a lot of work. Nice![]()
Thanks, I definitely can't wait to have it done.. I can tolerate a bit of chrome accent, but definitely not as much as I have currently.
I'm shopping for the black factory wheels as well. At least they don't seem to be that expensive.
My biggest decision coming up is whether I want to do the bumpers in black or body color. And I guess the same for the grill.
I'm looking at one of these grills, as I really like the style but I'm not sure how they will hold up..
