Driving to break those gears in is no fun---you know the performance is there----you just can't use it--yet
LOL

I’m in the middle of the bush with two main gravel/ice roads and the ice road on the River. I’ll take my time breaking them in. Don’t need it really until March break when I’m On the highways, by then, go time!

Didn't have time to post it 3 weeks ago, did new brakes all around. Installed Power Stop Z36 pads, rotors and calipers.
They do feel great.
Last week drove frome north of Chicago to Peru, ME and back skirting the snowstorms.
Today ordered new sneakers. Yokohama Geolander A/T G015

I've got the same tires in LT 20x37x12.5. No regrets, you'll like them :waytogo:

Rear brakes started grinding last week. I have owned this truck for 3 years now and hadn’t replaced these yet. Did the fronts 2 years ago.

Same brakes and tires (A/T) here as well!
No regrets.

Began the chrome elimination!

Got one handle done and bunch of wiring for the key-N-go mod..

View attachment 236691

Hopefully get rid of the rub strips and the rest of the handles next week some time

Looks good. I did this about 4 years ago. Sold the truck 3 years ago, I bought it back about a week and a half ago, and the lights, grill, and wheels were all replaced by my dad with chrome again.... I am slowly going to have to do it in stages again. It does look a lot better without chrome. I am just not a fan of it. I got the wheels back, but he didn't take care of them and a lot of the black came off.

Thanks, I definitely can't wait to have it done.. I can tolerate a bit of chrome accent, but definitely not as much as I have currently.

I'm shopping for the black factory wheels as well. At least they don't seem to be that expensive.

My biggest decision coming up is whether I want to do the bumpers in black or body color. And I guess the same for the grill.

I'm looking at one of these grills, as I really like the style but I'm not sure how they will hold up..

One way or another the chrome needs to go lol.

I really like that grill. I wish it had the white LED lights tho. Thats why I went with that style.

Best money I’ve ever spent on my truck. I smile almost every tome I reach for the left pedal!

At least you know the truck, and the steps to take!

Son finished putting stripes on my truck tonight. He did the hood a couple weeks ago.

That accent stripe is different. I dig it! Love seeing love shown in mods, lol.

Chrome delete finished up front. Looks so much better, even if the adjusters top out before the headlights are fully adjusted... Oil cooler works TOO well. Will likely swap in a 200* tstat soon, or cover part of the cooler.

Hit that 150k Mark!!

Oh, and Pull Ya ? Color me jealous. Been wanting to swap in some LED tails and a retro’d set of headlights for a while now! Looks great!

Waiting for some of this snow to melt so I can go to the touchless carwash. My truck needs a wash BAD!
This winter is killing me. Last winter wasn't too bad. We'll see how it goes, I may get the truck professionally ceramic coated again. I got a 2 year ceramic coating when I first got it and was very impressed with it.
