Swapped 18 watt flush mount tow hook cover pods to 40 watt. They are smaller than 18w...go figure

Im running independent switch atm. Dont wanna mess with any wiring while under warranty still. Have a relay setup with remote going in soonAre these hooked to your high beam or is cutoff low enough to run continuous? Or separate switch?
Can’t decide between this or tow hooks.
Thanks
Snapped the coupler off my k&n while installing a catch can. Tossed the oem back in. Trucks going to look less cool under the hood this week!

Yep, new panels. Waaay brighter but almost too much side light. Didnt get on a dark road this morning for pics but the 18s seemed to light the road directly in front of truck better while the 40s lit the sides of road better.....damn it.did you get new panels to put in the bumper to make up for the smaller lights?

LOL I did the same thing brother. I said F it and moved to a Vararam. TONS of free space now in the engine compartment. Gonna install an air compressor I think.
Looks good, I started to install my deezee assist few months back but I was stuck getting the piece that expands in the tailgate to cooperate........not enough torque.Just got done installing a small 7” antenna and the Deezee tailgate assist. Although the tailgate assist works, I’m still iffy on it. It’s a pretty tight squeeze when the tailgate is closed and looks like it may rub and scratch the paint. Also when I activate the latch on the tailgate it doesn’t fall, it has to be pulled a bit to get it out. Guess that’s from everything being so tight in there.

I tightened the bolts as far as I could and the wire shroud piece is exactly 3.5” down like the instructions say. Maybe I should play with it and see where it fits best.
There is a thread here on the forum where guys did something to resolve the rubbing issue. It might actually be a Dee Zee dedicated thread. Sorry, I don't remember how they resolved it or the exact thread, but it is in here somewhere.
