Left yesterday at 250AM. Made it to Michigan by 1045 PM. 1250ish miles. Averaged just about 18mpg exactly @ 73mph 90% of the way.

One concern I had. I was in traffic cruising about 65, but when traffic broke up I hit the has to get back up to 73 and my transmission jumped as if it skipped a gear. My wife thought I ran an animal over. Anything I should be worried about?? I have 13 days here in Michigan then I had back to Georgia.

That’s about the same mileage I get on road trips. Hopefully your trans is all good! Enjoy your trip.

I'd be willing to bet it was just something you drove over chief. It's happened to me once before when driving through a construction area. A section of uneven roads coming together. It was just the perfect storm, so to speak.

Yeah I hear you, but this was the trans for sure. There wasn't anything in the road. It was drive train for sure. It's getting some warranty work when we get back, so I'll have them check it out.

Try motorwise.ca
They have a lot of different options. Sometimes it’s a little hard to navigate though. You’re almost better off if you know the part number you are looking for and just type it in the search bar. Fast shipping too. Ended up getting my borla xr1 from there and mbrp 4.5od tips from there. Cheaper than anywhere else

Thanks, I have never heard of that website before. I’ll check them out tonight.

I ordered a 2 inch Draw Bar for my existing B&W Tow & Stow. I will probably never have a need for it, but I wanted it.

http://bwtrailerhitches.com/product/2-draw-bar

What additional things should I buy to go with the Draw Bar?

Shackles? Recovery Straps?

https://www.amazon.com/Ring-Shackles-Pcs-Recovery-Isolator/dp/B072V533FC

Yesterday, I ordered the following two (2) items to go with my Draw Bar:

Tow Strap Heavy Duty - Tow Rope Recovery strap 30ft x 3in with 30,000 lbs (15 US Ton) Capacity tow straps - Towing strap for Winch - Truck Tow Strap, Tow Rope, Car Tow Strap

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072V4V7RS/

D Ring Shackles (2 Pcs) - 3/4" D Shackle with 7/8" Pin Tow Shackles - Recovery Shackle Heavy Duty - Black D Ring with Shackle Isolator - Bow Shackle Off Road Recovery

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072V533FC/

I will probably never need any of them (including my Draw Bar), but they will be there in case I ever need them.

Disabled my MDS. Wow what a difference in driveability!

Living in the foothills of NC I'm always on back roads, up and down hills and sharp curves... rarely a straight stretch more than 1/4 mile long and I can't tell you the last time I was on the interstate. MDS was constantly kicking on and off... a real annoyance and not saving me any fuel. Turned it off last night through my BullyDog tuner then took the wife into town for dinner, felt like I was driving a completely different truck.

Looks good, I loved mine when it was done. Now get the hood stripes!! We even have same antenna.

I was going to, as well as a pair of tailgate stripes but want to keep it cleaner. I can always go back for the stripes later. 5/7 drop and Line-X first. It’s being dropped off today.
