Finally got my new LED replacement underhood light in. Don’t have any night shots of the old bulb but these are from today, before and after.
And in case anybody’s interested, I have a spare underhood light, complete with panel push pin and the other LED light that came in the package if anybody wants it. I’ll post it over in the for sale section.

I’ve had my under hood light sitting in my garage for like 6 months lol. What type of bulb does it take? I want to upgrade to the led prior to the install which I’m going to do as soon as it warms up

Not gonna lie I avoid mud like the plague because of that exact reason. Paint is whatever but it packs into every damn nook in the undercarriage. I got a set of Rokblokz flaps and they help a ton with keeping the underside pretty clean from excessive buildup. Obviously you have a bit of a situation with chopped rear quarters but up front they'd help. Ugly as **** but who cares. Cheaper than my water bill letting my sprinkler run under the truck all day.

Well, I've yet to see more pics and a detailed story. So I call B.SFrom a fella who just did that for a couple days with the sprinkler, the. Spent 5-6 hours pressure washing the underside, and STILL having mud run from places I couldn’t get to, I approve of this message, lol.
Didn't know you could color match cheap bedliner, just assumed line-x etc since they are higher quality?? After all the work and headache just to have a salt truck annihilate my hard work idk if I will go through the trouble again. Maybe down the road if this thing ever becomes a secondary vehicle, but for now, it's running dd, jobsite and adventure duty so boring bedliner suffices. Now it’ll be easier to color match. Just be sure you use a white primer designed for plastic and rubber.
I love my truck!

I really like this!DIY Undercarriage washer. I made this a few of years ago. Cheap, simple, and works.
