I took mine out of the garage, I needed to get to the hi-lift bucket for my tractor which was stored behind it. So, it saw snow for the first time.
It was funny, it looked, carefully put it's tires in it and shook them. Then went back inside!

I put on a nilight roll bar
(I know, it won't do nothing in the event of a roll over, I ain't fixing to roll it)

What it does do, is give me a solid surface to mount my plow beacon too

This is the first (really, only) one I found that works with a tonneau cover (mostly) AND it doesn't stick out too far past the cab (kind of a requirement for a rollbar, no?) so the beacon doesn't stick out too high and it still fits in my garage

Plus, I think it looks cool

So I searched the forum for a thread like this and didn't find anything. I figured it would be fun to have a thread that everyone can watch what everyone is doing each week.

This week I put on Steelcraft nerf bars, and right now I'm getting the permaplating put on the truck. This way it gets a real good bath.
I washed & waxed my truck, put my bed cover back on. Hopefully no more snow this season

I will definitely get this before I do mine again, thank you. I tried sitting in a chair & lifting & holding with my feet but couldn’t see, ended up just sitting on the floor but I’m sure the last tire was heavier than first.

The last few times I've completed a tire rotation, I've changed the SOP a wee bit.

When jacking up, I stop just after the wheel leaves the ground. Pull the nuts, remove the wheel, roll the replacement over, and push sideways onto the lug nuts.

Sometimes you need a wee jiggle to perfect the alignment or a slight adjustment to the height if you're changing seasonal wheels.

These things are just too heavy for lifting, not like when I used to change winter wheels on the GF's car. LOL

Ordered a bunch of suspension components to finally be rid of the air ride on my limited. I was going to try to fix it one last time but I finally had enough of it. Really annoying to heat the garage for 3 days to thaw the system out, only for it to say it's raised to offroad mode but it's really on entry/exit. So 3" lift struts in the front, 2" lift coils in the rear, front upper control arms, and all rear control arms. Figure if it's coming apart might as well swap to adjustable control arms.

I like that upgrade, but now you will have water in the bed when rains? still like it

ditto, but they are over 200 bucks like wow. They have some knock offs like a "tire spoon" that seam to be more in what I'd pay 25 bucks, seams a little high priced buy useful for sure.

Even a tire dolly is like 100 bucks.

Very little, if any
I have taken the truck through the carwash with the new bar on it and there are just a few drops that made it through the tonneau cover seal

I think in a few days it will contour itself to the mount for the bar and all will be well

$208.45 for us Canadastan residents.

Only $149.95 for the more southern folks.

My new tire change SOP takes a bit of practice but it's much easier than lifting into place.
I'll save my $ for something else.

I have a rolling tire dolly for the summertime Michelins but it's much easier to roll them back to the garage individually. Same for the Winter KO2s. I usually stack them on a square piece of plywood.
