Im looking to get exhaust system installed, but Im wanting somthing that helps with performance and gas mileage, I use this truck for work some times and pull a 20 foot trailer from time to time so I DON"T want a exhaust that is too LOUD... What should I go with?

I have a K&N air intake and a throttle body spacer!!

The smaller the muffler you get the louder it will be, however you can still get a straight through design muffler that is bigger to help with sound but still get performance out of it.

I suggest checking out the sound clips in the 3rd gen exhaust clip thread stickied at the top to get an idea of what kinda sound you want.

With either exhaust you get, get rid of the spacer. It does basically nothin for your hemi. Just throwing that out there. I prefer magnaflow on the hemi's so I'd vote magnaflow!

Why are yall saying NO on the Throttle Body Spacer? It did increase my gas mileage.. I started get almost 2 more MPG when I added the spacer.

Good advice here. We can give you input and advice, but it comes down to what sound you are looking for.

This is what I have on my truck. Great for daily driving and not too loud when towing.

If you knew the concept that they are trying to sell with the TB spacer and how modern fuel injected engines work, you would know that it's pure snake oil. I'm not trying to bust your balls, but if dodge could increase the fuel economy by adding a cheap (probably $10 to produce ) spacer between the throttle body and the intake manifold they would have done it. With the strict regulations coming they are already squeezing what they can out of the engine while still appealing to the masses. A 15% or so increase in fuel economy is huge, esp if there is no adverse affect (noise, maintenance, etc).
The only purpose they serve now is to plumb N20 :waytogo:

My advice for the exhaust is to listen to sound clips to get an idea of how it will sound. IMO your best results will come from a straight through muffler such as the Magnaflow. If you want it to be quiet go with a 24" muffler, the 18" (which I am very happy with) will be slightly louder, and the 14" will be the loudest. The 14" seems to be the most popular choice. You already have SS piping so I would save some money and just replace the muffler and use the stock piping.

This what I have and love it. Nice rumble on start up and in town but almost as quiet as stock while cruising the highway. I have a 5.9 though I wouldn't think it would be very much different.

You might want to check out the 18" or 22" magnaflow if you going to be towing a trailer.

Here is a few clips of what they guys on here are running
http://www.ramforum.com/f50/ram-forum-exhaust-3rd-gen-clips-vids-12633/

Magnaflows are normaly at the top of the list. The wifes 05 is running the Borla system and works out pretty good for being a good mix. I ran a FM Delta 40 SI/DO for awhile and was good with the pipes exiting the rear, once you dump there is a higher chance of drone.
