What is this silver nub for?

It is killing me...what is this dam thing?

I see it on my stock UCA and the Mevotech.

not a grease fitting.

The only place i've seen something like this is on a Miata.
Certain editions came with a Tonneau Cover and it would snap into the "nub".

It where the linkage arm for the air suspension level sensor attaches for the truck with the factory air suspension.
