Ok so i was rooting around underneath my ram and there is this weird electronic wiring piece and a metal capusule looking thing next to it under the drivers door on the frame. Does anyone know what this is?

The round metal thingy is a frame dampener to quite the harmonics in the longer frames,not sure what the electrical thing is though.My 2014 regular cab shortbox has neither,lol

The wiring is just a harness intermediate connector. Separates all the wiring into separate chunks.

Wildone is correct about the dampener.
