My UConnect is almost up and I was wondering what actually stops working? All I know is remote start and voice text. What else will I lose?

And I fell in love with the remote app so all if it together was $250 a year.
I’m pretty sure I can do that with CarPlay for free but either way, I don’t use that voice reply crap....lol. That stuff puts me in a foul mood whenever I have my iPhone connected to the truck and even at one point I had CarPlay disabled just so Siri wouldn’t keep muting my damn music, and wanting to read me my texts every time I got a text message.Only thing I miss is the ability for custom voice reply to texts.
But I refuse to give in and pay full price just for that. It should be free, or really cheap, since it's a safety feature IMHO.

The 911 will work with or without UConnect Access. I don’t have UConnect Access but mine still works.

You’re right; it should be free, or even at a much cheaper price than what they charge but since it ain’t neither one of those, and if you want it bad enough, that’s the price you pay to have it- or you just live without it.

Hmm, I coulda sworn the lady I talked to that went over that stuff with me said that it wouldn’t. Oh well. As I stated, I didn’t care to renew that or the driver services stuff but in order to keep the stuff I did want- that was included.

I figured that’s what you meant. But still- to each is own, I wouldn’t be paying for that voice to reply stuff, and don’t even use it for free. lol.Yes, you 2018-ers got Android Auto/CarPlay/whatever it is.
But you also got a horrid Uconnect update too![]()
I guess I’ve yet to see what’s so horrid about it. lol. Are you talking about that update that made some people’s radios sound weird, or something? I haven’t experienced that. Maybe because I upgraded every speaker in my truck except for the front subs, or “bass-carrying only” 6x9’s in the front doors,

on a 2018 with android auto and car play you never had the option of custom voice reply over the bluetooth connection since the service is Sirius Guardian. The only way to custom text reply on that radio is through android auto or carplay, and that is free.^^ THIS ^^
you will never lose nav, but after 5 years your travel link subscription will end. That gives you those annoying weather advisory notifications for stuff that isn't anywhere near you and also realtime traffic which is nice for the navigation to reroute you to save from having to sit in stop and go trafficAwesome replies. My main concern was the Nav.
She may have mis spoke or something. Since they have the button in the truck and if you needed it and it didn’t work they would more then likely be liable in some way or another. I saw on the website at some point or another that is was included with the truck itself and not just UConnect Access.

No, you haven't noticed the awful sounding stereo from the Uconnect update because you have a Limited with the subwoofer system. The software update "only" screwed up 2018's with the 8.4 and 6 speaker system.
