So i have a 2014 Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab, I'm looking to get a 6 Inch lift with 37's, this is the 1st truck i've owned that i've wanted to modify. If there are any suggestions of what other things i need to do/get to make this an easy modification please let me know!

From all the reading I have done.. The Zone lift is what almost everyone goes after... Zone 6/3 is about 1700 And should sit it level... And with 37s you wanna check your gears too.. Maybe an expert can chime in on that.. I'm still learning gears..

I was looking into getting Rough Country Lift only because it's a little cheaper but the gearing with getting 37's was where i was kinda worried if and how will they need to be changed.

There is a reason the Rough Country is cheaper, they use a coil spacer in the rear instead of a new spring. The Zone kit uses a spring to achieve the lift in the rear. The front seems to be about the same set up as the Zone. For 37" tires to fit I would think you would need the 5 inch lift in the rear and to install a set of bilstein adjustable in the front set to 2.1 inch. Even then 37" tires may rub and require trimming or a body lift to clear.

The Zone 6" kit with 5" rear coils and Bilsteins set to 2.1" is one of the most common setups guys will run and what you should be looking at for the setup you're talking about. 37's can definitely fit no problem on a 6" lift depending on how wide of a stance you want. Something like a 20x9 -12 offset or 20x10 -12 offset wheel will work. Anything wider will require trimming.

If I didn't get the 6in lift and instead went with a leveling kit, what would the largest tires I could fit? I would like to get 35s but I was thinking that they maybe to large? Maybe 33s to be safe?

35's can definitely fit on a leveling kit. But again, wheel width and offset will play into the setup.

@BrandonJansen do you have any recommendations that would be ideal with a leveling kit such as tire width and rim offset?

FYI here in Ohio You can get ticketed for having spacers

A 9" wide wheel with a 0 offset is one of the more common setups and is the safest as far as fitment and poke goes. With a 35x12.5 tire they'd be sticking out about 1.5" past the fender, 0.5" past OEM flares if you have them.

OK so changing the question a little bit...I am looking at a 4" lift. Already running 35s with 5100s in front. Comments on difference between Zone and RC? I was looking into Kore, but it appears they are done?

Between those 2 Zone is the far better option. RCX only provides coil spacers for their rear lift, Zone provides full replacement coils which is a far better option.

What Offset rim would i need if i went with the 35x12.5 tires?

I know Kore still makes the bumpers and such, because I'm looking into it myself. I'm not entirely sure where they stand on the suspensions since they always seem sold out. Pure Performance is another good option to the Kore suspension kit and they have different levels of kits that go from weekend warrior type to full blown prerunner depending on how crazy you want to go.

A 9" wide wheel with a 0 offset will work for 35x12.5 tires. If you want them sticking out further (wider stance) you can go with a -12 offset.

With a 35x12.5 tire and assuming a 9" wide wheel a 0 offset will be sticking out approximately 1.5" past the fender (0.5" past OEM flares if you have them). A -12 offset will be sticking out approximately 2" past the fender (1" past OEM flares if you have them).

yeah Kore's website is still operational, but I heard they're done and are just selling off what they have(?) could be wrong, but they've been "sold out" of the long travel kit for the 1500 forever, and it doesn't look like they're making more. Thanks for the tip on PP - that stuff looks sick. Might have to go work some OT tho... :buffer:

No problem man. I'm probably gonna end up with the $5k kit because of money reasons haha. But yea I'm gonna need to stash some cash before that's even a consideration.
