I got a message from the eBay seller saying it was supposed to come with a SP and i’m waiting for him to reply because i think he’s gonna send another one.

It's your money, but I would just ask for a refund to the one you have. I think you are being generous to him seeing that it was his failure. But glad you got the answer you were looking for.

Holy crap I missed a lot here[emoji15]

Damn that sucks man...

So the new valve body didn't come with the a new SP?

I always thought the grey connector SP is the updated one?

Those codes you're popping are now usually from a bad solenoid pack from what I've read about them.....

Yeah, it’s a bad SP and it didn’t come with one.

If you can measure size, thread pitch & length you could get a grade 8 hex bolt about anywhere.

You bought the VB and SP from the same dude, I think you should get a refund for the solenoid, if not give him a bad mark. Give him a chance to make it right.

Just a question, is it okay to put the old vb back into the truck with the old sp until i can put the new parts in it?

I went back out to the truck today to see if there were any more codes, i fired it on for around 10 seconds and shut it off and P0934 came up again, which is for a faulty hydraulic pressure sensor. Could this be one of the issues causing the shifting problems, and if so, i know it’s easy to replace, but i’d like to know if it’d cause P0845 and could possibly even out the shifting until Tuesday when i can install the new SP. I’ve had the line pressure sensor taken off and on multiple times as i was trying to diagnose previous issues thinking that was the problem, and i’m thinking i may of cracked an internal trace or something inside of the LPS.

The obvious question would be in that a new code? I do believe the new VB for whatever reason is behind that, but that is just a guess.

I have a feeling it’s the vb, but i also am not sure about it. I haven’t driven the truck at all. The only reason i’m saying it’s the sensor itself is because the code stays the same when i unplug the TPS but it adds another code which is p0935 which is circuit high for the sensor.

It’s a new code, but what i’m saying is that P0934 never went away, stayed on, and then me unplugging the TPS set a code for P0935, which is Hydraulic Pressure Sensor Circuit High, which goes directly with P0934, which is Hydraulic Pressure Sensor Circuit Low.

The only previous code you had was P0935? I haven't been under my truck in a while, but I don't think that item is inside transmission, probably an easy thing to replace if you get the new vb/sp back and the code is still there. The fact that it is low and high is telling. I didn't stay up with your issue, just added what info I could once you got a VB. The decision has been made to get a new VB/sp and regardless that is a good idea on an rfe with 450k miles, so get that in and see where you are at would be what i'd do.

Isn't the pressure sensor on the back of the transmission by the Tcase/tailshaft? I'd double check that connector is fully plugged in....

The trans pressure sensor is on the side of the transmission, it’s a part i broke off when i first got my line booster back in June, which i replaced the day after.

Forgot to add, the previous code i had was P0934, and the one i got when i disconnected the trans pressure sensor is P0935.

I did, no change. What’s weird is that i also got the same code a few weeks back when my battery terminal wasn’t seated all the way down, but i’ve checked it, and it’s seated.

Did you replace it with a aftermarket or Mopar sensor?
