2022 Laramie 4x4 - Just about to hit 29k.

I swear it spends more time at the airport parking than on the road sometimes.

Also got a 2006 SBSC with 158,000 original miles. Love them both.

2014 5.7 with 151K miles. Runs well with a slight tick on startup, not sure if it's a manifold. MDS disabled via persistent CEL.

I had the same problem. Did you use the metal version from Dorman?

See avatar info, just over 122,000 miles, no tick and all factory except (1) fuel sending unit and 2 exhaust manifolds. Otherwise all regular maintenance.

Me, 1957 model, 3 discs out of alignment in lower back, left rotator cuff tendonitis, and arthritis from my ear lobes to my ankles, worst at hips and knees.

Hell my knees "tick" worse than my Hemi.

God you guys are young, I wish, I am a early 40's model.

I can't be bother to get out of the chair and check milage on my 14, it is somewhere around 90,000 Kilometers ,so 55,000 miles or so,
5.7, 8 sp 3.9 gears. exc, no repairs. Retired now so moved to town , so mainly trips to store. Before the city was 1 hr or 2 hr. away depending on which city.

Right knee is going to hell, guess I should get it looked at. water on it.

BTW the wifes loaded CRV Honda is 2008 and about the same milage, Lot of people want to buy it, but we don't need a new one.
She has hip just done , Waited 3 yrs , now the other one and knee needs overhaul as well, she has not driven it in 3-4 yrs herself.

My truck is a 15’ with 104k, currently running great, most of the money spent on it was by choice not required.
My self, Oct. 68, in my mind still 35 but my body reminds constantly that was a long time ago.

Well that explains the wisdom clearly evident in you post’s and advice, my father is in a similar situation with his hip but with other issues the doctors advise against trying to repair

2014 RCSB about 145K. Me, 1974, my arms aren't long enough to see with and everything is starting to hurt, but like whatever.

2015 Laramie 4WD with 236K. It was my first new vehicle purchase. Up until this year, it only had regular maintenance plus a water pump replacement. This year has had some work in it, no great surprise at over 200K though as I see it: 2 exhaust manifolds, manifold gasket, oil sensor, and front wheel hubs.

Decided to keep fixing it up, but it isn’t my daily anymore. Looking to reduce the amount of wear and tear I put on it and get some more years of enjoyment out of it.

My 2023 RAM 1500 Classic is an ex-rental with about 16K miles on it. It was the only real bargain truck I could find for general farm work. I'm old enough to stil think $5 is alot of money, hence the truck. I like it though. My last two trucks were Fords and were both 200K mile trucks.

B.S. also works at time I find, ;) not sure about the wisdom part,
but I do more building /repairing then buying.

Wife's Dr. says hips are easier to handle then knees.
I know a couple fellow that had knees done and they can't kneel down on them .
I spent 1/2 my life on my knees fixing stuff it seems like. Walking is OK. as long as I don't put any side load on the right one. sitting too long is not good.
