Looking at new wheels and tires for my 2014 Sport 1500. I am wanting to go with 17's, as they are more readily available, are better for off-roading and may give a little better fuel economy.
I was looking at these wheels Ion Alloy Wheels - ION - 179 MATTE BLACK with maybe these tires DESTINATION AT | Firestone Tires
Does that seem like a good combo? This is my first truck, and I do not know much about wheels and tires. I am not even sure what bolt pattern/width I need for the wheels.
I do about 80% on-road, 20% forest service roads/trails. I had one of the stock Wranglers blow on me when I drove down a shale road.
Any help is appreciated.
