Thanks for the tip on the Costco site. Went there this morning, worked through the configurator and clicked the find authorized dealer link. Phone rang 13 seconds later. I think they're ready to take orders :)
Cool, glad that worked out for you!

Does the F status me finished? And how do you check the status of your truck build? I'm ordering my truck in the very near future and would love to follow what stage it's in. Thanks.

For those ordering 2020s, are dealers offering any rebates close to RAM is currently offering on the '19s?

Our dealer told me that we would get whatever incentives and rebates were in effect when our truck arrives.

FYI, go select the 2019 Ram you want to build, edit the URL from 2019 to 2020 and you will see the ram configurator on 2020s!

I tried and got nothing. I'm looking to order a 2020 2500 Bighorn soon. I hope they get it up and running soon. Dodge headquarters told me that it will be available once you see 2020 2500's on dealer lots. Probably January.

All my local dealerships have 2020s inbound according to their websites so it shouldn't be long at all.

Weird, works for me. I selected the 2500, then on the page with the models I changed 2019 to 2020 in the address bar and then you select the model you want. it will show 2020 after you select the model you want.

It will look like it's still the 2019 configurator, but when you actually start a configuration it will be labeled 2020.

So, I ordered a 2020 2500 on November 22nd. I haven't heard a damn thing since. Are these things actually being built and shipped? Anyone actually "seen" a 2020 yet?

They only started making the 2020 2500's around 11/25. Dodge headquarters is telling me dealers will have them in January. Who knows for sure. Maybe someone who works at a dealership will chime in with more info. I'm hoping to order mine by end of the year or early January.

I ordered one, I think. Dealer took my email and said I would get updates as things progressed. He told me I probably wouldn't take delivery until Jan-Feb but I haven't heard a peep since then. I would think I would have at least gotten an email to confirm the order. I'll probably give him a call tomorrow and see if he's heard anything.

I did go in with the intentions of ordering a 2019, was surprised when he said he could order a 2020. As someone stated earlier, you still can't build one online. I just went back and swapped out the 19's for 20's in the address bar and it does work, just built my truck in the 2020 model. Little bit of sticker shock though, 2019's still show Employee Pricing, so 2020 was about $8k more. :(

I'm in a similar boat as you but slightly further along. It took me maybe two weeks to get the VIN number and the VON. you can use either to check status with FCA but my dealer will keep me in the loop. Once I got the VIN the dealer asked me for the 500 deposit, not sure if all dealers require that.

I hear you though, took a couple weeks to find out if I actually had an order. I figure the build gets submitted to FCA and only when they enter the order into their system will you hear anything.

I also noticed that the price increased on some of the packages, maybe 100 each on tires, bed utility and the level 2 laramie. It does hurt to see the EP price but I really didnt want to plunk a bunch of money on a first year of a new design so I'm biting the bullet. also cant really wait much longer.

I was fine with getting a ‘19. Only problem we had was there wasn’t anything within 500mi that was set up the way I wanted it. Everything has 3.73 gears for some damn reason. I said, if I’m giving up the Cummins and going to the 6.4, there’s no way I’m budging on the gears. It had to have 4.10’s or I wasn’t buying. There were a few other smaller details I could have lived with but the gears were a no-go.

That makes sense. Where I'm at everything is CTD, very few hemis and the ones I saw were not setup the way I wanted.
