When can I order a 2020 2500?

Just ordered my 2020 3500 Laramie (68RFE), hoping for late April - mid May delivery. No deals, just invoice price which sucks given the discounts for the 2019 trks.

Timing. They had to give huge "deals" to get them off the lots so the wheels of 2020 assembly could spin. Want a huge "deal" on a 2020 truck? wait until after Thanksgiving to shop and be satisfied with whatever is in stock.

Just got a call from our local dealer. Our 2500 Limited has finally arrived! Ordered 11/14/19, build started in February. But then got stuck in Mexico waiting for transmission recall. Finally shipped on March 1. Hope to pick it up in the next couple of days, even though the dealer is officially closed.

Well my saga has finally come to an end! Picked up our new 2020 2500 Limited yesterday, the first day that Washington State dealers were allowed to resume sales. It's been nearly SIX MONTHS since we placed our order.

To recap the saga:

• November 14, 2019: Order placed. ETA was January 2020.
• Late January, 2020: Truck was built at factory in Mexico. Last minute 68rfe transmission recall delays shipment.
• Late February, 2020: Truck shipped to Everett
• March 20, 2020: Truck arrives at Dwayne Lane. Dealership forced to close the next day.
• May 5, 2020: Dealer allowed to resume limited sales. Finally get our truck! Everything so far checks out OK. And it fits in our garage!
