I have 2D 2WD Cab 1500 3.7L V6 motor. I replaced the valve covers as one of them had a crack in it. Connected everything back to where it was, started it and its generating P0123 Code for "Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit High." And P0303 Cylinder misfired detected. I bought a new TPS, but I cannot find where its located. I've Googled it, checked PDF manual for 2007-8 service manual, and there are no videos or diagrams showing me where this sensor is located. I see where the Throttle Pedal Sensor is on the gas pedal, is that the same thing? The new sensor that I bought does not match where I thought it would be - which was the Motor IAT connector. Where is this thing?

I'm having the same issue, have you found where it was or do you have to replace the entire throttle body?

Many times they are integrated into the throttle body and it has to be replaced as a unit. I’m not familiar with that engine though.

Those 2 trouble codes might not be related. The P0303 is possibly due to the removal/ installation of the COP's . Likewise, before I'd jump to the conclusion that the parts cannon ($) need loading, I'd double check my connections, especially the part where the pins are to be sure you didn't bend one. Also, make sure they are fully seated. That's easy to do by attempting to unplug the connector and see if the lock is holding.

The law of descending logic says.... "What's the last thing you messed with before the problem arose?". Follow the logic. You just might be surprised!
