4 kids? thats tahoe...i mean suburban yukon xl territory.
I checked out Tahoe, behind the 3rd row there’s definitely not enough cargo space for a full size suv. And suburban, I already got a megacab! I’m not parking and fueling 2 behemoths.

.... I do hate that I can’t get to the storage under the seats though. We do have more room in it than the journey. I’d like to get something bigger eventually.

That's what I love about my Mega Cab. You can still store stuff under the seat and behind the seat and it is still accessible with seats in there.

That's the '84. Very first year they made 'em, I think. Easy way to tell is the two lens turn signals. My first car was an '85 Caravan, and they had one lens. Was still before they'd figured out it was a bad idea to use a 4 cylinder...want to say mine was like a 1.2 liter. Fine for just me, but forget about it once you had any kind of passengers or cargo. LOL....hilarious.

Main reason I got the Crew Cab was to get the three LATCH connectors in the back seat. Have three kids...two in the big Britax seats, and one infant in a rear facing carrier. It all fits, surprisingly. I have a trailer that I hitch up anytime I have any particularly big or nasty things that need moving, so my bed is for tools and cargo, and I got it line-X'd and added extra LED lighting. Covered it with a Bakflip MX4 that does a great job keeping the weather out. Can fit all kinds of luggage and strollers back there when needed.

Wife has a new Honda Odyssey, and it is also very competent. There's more passenger room then the Ram, but less effective cargo space. All trade offs, and good to have both in the toolkit depending what comes up.

Good luck with your new circus. ;)
