The dial worries me, I have a 9 year old son who likes to turn dials and push buttons.... so far my third gen has been thrown into four wheel low at 30 mph. But wait I didn't think it would go into low range without stopping and shifting the trans into the big N gear as he calls it? Well it did, and luckly it didn't wreck anything..... So no dial shift for me lol.....

For all you hater mad cause we posted or low miles in an open forum.... I just added another 40 miles to my RAM since my last post. I wanted to participate so I can keep tabs on longevity but some of you have nothing else in the world to be pissed at. Lmao.

Is this what we've come to now? Posting an observation (or hint) is considered "hating" and "pissed off"?

I'm offended that you think I was pissed off, my tolerance is much higher than that ;)

2009 SLT 5.7 Hemi 234,759 miles, no engine work. It has thrown a cylinder misfire code twice but still runs strong. Oil change every 3000 miles.

2015 1500 Big Horn. Just hit 130k yesterday. Had to rebuild my differential last week. Changed gear ratio to 4.11.

So I here I am, the third gen has came and went. Now I own a 2020 Ram 1500 Classic. My god, it's insane.......... The ZF 8 spd bangs gears like it's getting paid too. I honestly don't think that 545 FE would know what gear it's in by the time that 8spd rolled through all of them . Not to mention 3.92 gears plus that 400 + hp V8. I don't how much I believe the dyno info from factory...... I can honestly say I miss my old 3rd gen for none of electric b.s., but love the power of this fourth gen classic.

Id take a 3rd gen over a 4th. Heck id take a gen 2 even.

I had a 2nd gen, a 3rd gen, and now a 4th gen. I miss my 3rd gen. It never failed me and was in great condition. A lot of people couldn't believe it was a 2004. Then I wrecked it. it had 202,000 miles on it. My 2nd gen had 163,000 on it, and my current 4th gen has a147,000 on it.
