Why can't I find replacement 1500 upper rear shock mounts anywhere?

2002 dodge ram 1500 quad 4x4
My driver side upper rear shock mount went MIA recently.
Have a fab guy, but he says upper rear shock mounts are only available for 2500/3500?

If anyone has run into this problem, what do you do?

I was thinking of putting one of those shock bars in between the frame, not sure that's the best way to fix it

Shock mount seems like something a "fab guy" should be able to weld together fairly quickly.

That said, if you had one go meet jesus, I would be questioning the integrity of the rest of your frame.
