Why no buy from Morimoto

Well long story here. I have always been a guy with open mind and I like to try new stuff here and there., however I went into getting headlights for my truck at the time there were not the “XB headlights” yet but then morimoto comes saying their “XB headlights” when I found they are not made by them or even sell by them originally, so I decided to give you more info of what they really do trying to take more money everything from you if possible.

Headlights are made by a Chinese company as all products they have ., the website name is www.coplus.com.tw they make them with low quality Chinese components “No real leds or osram parts “ and price is not even the expensive morimoto is selling them for. It cost less than $350 the set of lamps so they are getting from you ,more than $900 ?????? Yes if you pay from those “XB headlights on their site you will be giving them more than $900 for nothing” so you now think if buy these lights from who really make them from original seller Coplus or from a retailer “morimoto” and pay them $900 more for what you can get them originally from.

I also emailed morimoto about this and they just shut the mouth!! So I can see they are just stealing people’s money, Your money!

While I appreciate the info on who manufacturers the headlights I don't understand the beef with Retrofit source?

The only way for us to buy these headlights from them is to become a dealer and dealer buy-ins are in the thousands. However, if the markup is from $350 to $1500 makes me think I need to get into this business.

Wholesalers just slap their brand on the product the manufacturer makes. Was there confusion on how that works?

Just like most products these days, not like it's a surprise. No one is going to sell anything if they can't make a good profit. Aftermarket parts mark up is crazy on all parts so just stick to stock.

They don't list Ram headlights....unless you emailed them and they said they are producing the Morimoto XB headlights?

Kind of hard to call it stealing your money if they offer a product that costs $X amount and you don't like the price. Just don't buy it if you don't like the price.

The Morimoto projectors I purchased appear to be quality products. To each their own.
