I have a 2016 1500 5.7 Hemi 4x4
i already have Kooks header and kooks green dual cats.
Followed by a a Borla cat back.
Will adding a 9omm throttle body show any benefits,
i don't wand to do an intake swap just yet.

Thanks for any and all input
Hopefully you're making a joke.Just for the record your truck uses the exact same throttle body as the 485 horse Scatpack 392's/6.4's use,and even on them, the throttle body is one of the last mods you do,long after doing headers/cam/ported heads etc.,and you have a long ways to go,to come close to the airflow a 485 hp 6.4 requires.
Don't fall for the hype, save your money on the throttle body, and use it towards a mod that'll actually give you some benefit.
Throw in the fact your intake manifold opening is roughly 84/85mm,to make a 90mm throttle body work, you'll have to port the intake opening on either a 5.7 or 6.4 intake manifold.
The only bigger throttle body in that size range, that's any good is the Hellcat throttle body with an adapter,as it's made to actual OEM standards, the aftermarket throttle bodies in the 90 mm range, still have aways to go to matching OEM standards, especially the BBK one.

Even if you swapped to a 6.4 truck manifold (or whatever manifold you had in mind), you wouldn't be pulling more air than the engine needs and your stock TB can provide.
I have a 6.4 truck intake that I haven't installed yet. It came with the TB and 6.4 injectors.
Is there any gain from the 6.4 intake and is there a size difference from the TB on a 5.7 or 6.4 ?
Any other info is appreciated regarding this mod

The 6.4 intake manifold will help a stock 5.7, yes.
Will you be standing the front end up, no!

The stocker TB is more than adequate for this upgrade.

Back a while I did install a Fastman standard upgraded TB with the optional backside bore, too.
I had cash to burn as a favor from long before came back to me so I went for it.

Did it make an improvement, yes!
Was it out of this world, no!

Would I drop that cash on its own for a stock engine, absolutely not ;)

5.7, 6.1 & 6.4 all use the same size TB.

Use your 5.7 injectors with spacers, the 6.4 injectors are a bit hard to tune on a basically stock 5.7. Your stock throttle body should be lots more then adequate.Being a 09,you have the old style throttle body,so you need an adapter harness to make the later throttle bodies work.Later 13+ 5.7's use the "exact" same 251 throttle body as the 6.4's use. All a ported throttle body does iis give you a deceptive seat of the pants increase off idle,it doesn't add any power, the reason it feels quicker off idle is because when the blade opens there's a small initial increase in airflow, but as soon as the blade goes to wide open, theres no increase in airflow. You can accomplish the same thing with a tuner by increasing the throttle response by 20%.You'll need a new airbox to run the 6.4 truck intake,as your 5.7 airbox doesn't hook up to the 6.4 intake manifold. The 2 common airboxes are the factory airbox from a 2500 with a 6.5,or the S&B box.

I personally didn't gain anything from the 6.4 intake on my otherwise stock 5.7 and actually feel like I lost a little midrange pull. I'll soon be (hopefully) installing my long tube headers so I can get my tune and bring it all together. As Rick said, use your 5.7 injectors with some fore spacers, and you might as well clean them all while you've got them off the truck.

Ok.. I do have a CAI on the 5.7 intake and I ported it my self also. One thing I did try was swapping the runner actuator from the 6.4 onto my 5.7 bc I realized that the connection was broken on the original one.
There must be a difference in those acuators bc I can hear the air whine when its in low end and I accelerate into a higher rpm.
I'm not looking for anything extraordinary in HP gains but a bit more spicy and fun to drive.
