Same problem and I also have smoked tails so that really didnt helpI have my front the same tint as the rears, for me it works perfectly. I can still see but it’s not obnoxious light nor dark. Only thing I forget is backing up cause factory lights are not bright enough [emoji3603]

I'll take 70%. Here in NJ we are not allowed to have any tint on the front side windows. Back side and rear windows we can have anything.
35 is legal for me too, but thinking 30 or 20%.I have 20% on mine and haven't had any issues. 35% is legal here.
After thinking about getting windows tinted and starting to notice more tint on the road, like you said, there are a quite a few driving around way past 20%, lol. Maybe it'd be a slow day if they pulled over for just window tint?Had my driver and passenger done with 20% carbon tint and my windshield done with 50% ceramic tint. Law here is 35% side and none on windshield. There's a lot of vehicles running around here with 5% all the way around.
How can you see at night? lol I'm thinking of getting 5% on the strip for the windshield.I’m running 5% all the way around with a 5% strip across the front. Can be a little sketchy a night lol. Lots of trucks (and cars) running around here like this.

If they are having a bad day, I guess anything can set them off. One time I was in a BFE county in WV, and we were coming back from my wife's grandfathers viewing and the cop pulled us over because a light wasn't shining on our back license plate - really?!!? That was definitely Barney Fife 2.0I think front tint worth anything is illegal basically everywhere. Really depends on rather or not officers want to enforce it. I understand the reasoning for it as far as safety not only to you while driving but so an approaching officer can see if you are reaching for something to put them in danger. At the end of the day though most officers if they can see you as you pass dont give you much ****. Where I got pulled over was in bfe on a back highway and the officer was clearly having a **** day by the way he presented his self and the fact he told me if he stopped me again he'd take a knife to it. . Again I get it we all have our days and at the end of the day I knew it was illegal when I put it on so he wasnt in the wrong.

Sharp truck!I did 20% all around and 40% windshield. No problems seeing at night in my area. Honestly kind of wish I went darker though [emoji17]View attachment 191250
