May I add that dismantling the inserts was a real pita and it resulted in a gushing wound to my thumb lol

I'm really interested to see how this turns out! Dip is definitely the way to experiment.

As of now I'm a little concerned... My first coat appeared watery ... Have had can sitting for awhile. Thought I shook enough.. so with that said there's a bit of a run but hopefully I can get enough coats to cover it. Worst case... Clean off and go get a different color [emoji24]

FYI one can is good for 5 coats on bumper plus a little for touchup

Ugghhh, that sucks. I don't know how thick the runs are, not sure if you can cover it. Most important rules for using the rattle can.

1) Warm can in hot water between each coat.. I know, you live in AZ and its hot as hell, I would do it anyway.
2) Shake the **** out of that can for like a minute or two before applying each coat.
3) Spray first coat to just barely cover.
4) Clean that nozil like a dish you are about to eat off of before applying each coat. Alcohol works.
5) Apply lightly after first coat if necessary, who cares if it is 7 light coats instead of 3 heavy coats, spray at your comfort, avoid the runs. But, not too light to where it is too dry when it hits, otherwise it will dry rough and be a PITA to clean and will lack sleekness)

Disclaimer: That's the best basic info I got for a Friday night, probably could have done better on a Monday morning!

Don't drip on the dip! Never did it on drugs, just alcohol. I am assuming the later provides higher rates of success. Never been on anything like a percocet, not sure if that will "perc" you up "o cet" you down.

If it's all screwed up, don't be afraid to go nuts and blow another can on it before you rip it off. Trust me, if it's on too light, taking it off is going to be a circus! You'll be glad you blew another few bucks on it when your peeling it off.. That's some Monday morning advice right there!

Lol ya. It just relaxes you.. have an MRI for bad knee next Saturday. Also having a few bluemoons. Will probably let this thing dry over night and finish putting it back together tomorrow.
