So we were driving in the rain this weekend across the state of Florida, and at one point, I adjusted the speed on the wipers in my ‘17 Express, and they did a little jump but kept working.
When I went to turn the speed down, the rest position had shifted to almost vertical, so unless they are at constant speed, it is very distracting.
My nephew and I opened up the hood, removed the nuts from both wipers, and removed the clips holding in the cover to access the motor, but the wipers themselves will not break free. We tried rocking them, as suggested, but the whole assembly just moves. I am able to manually move them back when not in use, but as soon as I use them, they again move to vertical. I don’t want to force and break anything.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Jason
