I have some old cube cree led lights from a jeep I had few years back, I snipped them off and they just have one end of wiring harness on them, is there anyway to hardwire lights to battery without a harness, where can I buy a harness with male and female and splice the wires from lights into it? any one know of any write ups that would help.

thanks

You'd be better off getting a wiring kit off of Amazon or ebay or tractor supply. All you would have to do is cut the ends off the harness and connect them to your pods

I've used the wiring harness from harbor freight that they sell for their leds and they seem to work great.

I've only ever used them on ATVs and SxS that take a bearing. Never had one fail

If you need help Im willing to answer questions and offer any assistance. This isnt hard, does buying an already made harness make it easier? Yes and no. I say this because you can make the wire as long as you want or you can trim the premade harness. I have done both. Really easy to do if you get a switch, 12v relay, wire (red and black), eyelets, and spade connectors. If you want to go fancy and make it look real nice order the pliers to crimp an open barrel pin for weatherpack connectors and order 2 pin connectors male and female. DM me if you would like and I’ll help as best I can over the phone.

Easy hook up! But seeing this post was last year, maybe he broke down and bought a harness or scrapped the light idea.
Who knows?

Actually it takes a lot of patience to build it with endless/non-stop soldering and testing - this guide on how to make led cube 4x4x4 may be helpful for you - https://diystadium.com/how-to-make-led-cube-4-4-4/ . But what a pleasure to see it working once done
Lots of patience and endless soldering? Really? Maybe if you are 7 years old. It's a simple 12v circut. A positive and a ground. Add a fuse inline on the positive, use a relay and a switch

maybe try clicking on the link he posted, he's not talking about an LED cube on a truck. A 4X4X4 LED cube is something entirely different.
He probably a bit too many soldering fumes as he was clueless about what the OP was asking

You are right, he's way off topic, but really, ad the proper resister on eack led or series of LEDs in his setup and that's it. I have a couple plano cases full of les, resistors, diodes ect from my days of building tail lights ahead signal lights for dodge neon. It's all simple 12v wiring.
