I have a 2013 3500 SLT that didnt come with power or heated seats. I upgraded to a set of power/heated and after jumping a power from the consol the powered portion worked for a while. It now is popping the fuse, disabling my back up camera and somehow the consol still has power.

That is another issue though. My issue I'd like to remedy is getting the heated seats to work. I tried having a dealer add the sales code, but it wasn't available. So thinking of adding my own wiring and aftermarket switches to get them working. Thoughts or ideas on how to easily make this happen please?

BTW, I did read quite a bit in the sticky link, but with so many pages I just wasn't having any luck finding exactly what I am looking for.

Thanks!

The heated seats from what I’ve read are more of a variable power instead of on or off. If you are giving direct power then you are probably overloading them. You can wire these up as OEM so you can control them as if you bought them with it. The guys at M2mods did the harness and AlphaOBD to program it works great. The console has different sources for power.
