ZF 8HP70 transmission fill plug size??

Anybody know the size or a link to purchase a new fill plug for the ZF 8HP70 Tranny? That sumbich is stuck good! TIA!

Did you find one? Just came across your post. They seem to be M18 X 1.5 mm, and new ones can be had for prices between $6.21 and $12.39 (or more). The lowest price I found was for a Febi branded plug from FCP Euro (but genuine ZF for $6.45), and the highest was for a BMW branded plug from FCP Euro as well . . . .

My Mopar OE replacement trans pan came with new bolts and a new fill plug.

I ended up getting a new pan Mopar OE pan as well that came with all new hardware, and it better for almost $500 price tag! My Lord!

You could've saved yourself a bit of money getting the OE pan through RockAuto or AllMoparParts


That price is up about $100 from a couple years ago.

I usually call the dealer with my VIN#, get a price and the part # and search.
