I'm thinking about which lift kit to get for my 4WD truck and I cant seem to find any bigger than 6". I found a Zone 6" (Sister company to BDS) that you can get with a 5" coil in the back to retain factory rake. I was thinking I could pair that with Bilstein 5100 or 6112 in the front set at around 2" to get 8" of lift. Would this end up having terrible angles? Also does anyone have experience with zone off-road or know of others with zone kits?

Put a zone Kit on my Buddies Silveraydo, Id say the quality was a bit lower than my Superlift but its a decent kit.

Some lift kits come with the 5100'S

If you do some searching, there are a number of people who have installed the Zone/BDS 6” kits .... During the i stall they omit the top spacer, and install the Bils at 2.8” which gives them about 8” of lift .... I believe in most cases, they replaced the factory UCA’s

Zone 6 with 5100s at 2.1 for 40k miles. Stock uca’s, 37s, and was used offroad, zero issues whatsoever. Swapping to 6112s on top notch this winter

That thing looks so good! So do you have the normal 6" zone or the one with 5" rear coils? How is the ride compared to stock? Are the angles good in the front?

Throw a PM out to Quick_Shifter he owns a shop in PA, and can give you all the pro's and cons

This is the 6” kit with the 5” coils. Angles are really good with the bils at 2.1. No binding etc. This bumper has me wanting to go up to the top clip with the 6112 tho to compensate for the weight

@Freed127 nice truck you will be very happy graduating to the 6112’s
@JB1 Ran the 6112’s on the top notch to fit 37’s with a nice stance. He since lowered back down as did I (I ran the eibach kit at 3.5”)

Im actually going the opposite direction haha. This truck isn’t my daily anymore so I have a body lift and a stack of other goodies here to install over winter! Super stoked to get started over Christmas

I would recommend a set of JBA upper control arms they are local to us in PA it’s a good insurance policy when you’re pushing 3” over geometry. Good Luck it’s looking good so far

The zone 6 inch with 5 rear coils, bils at 2.1 and zone 1.5 body lift looks like what a 6 inch looks like on my other trucks. Angles aren't bad at all, pretty easy install too, highly recommended.
Just trying to figure out how to eliminate that top hat

this is how you eliminate the top hat spacer. @Nick@GotExhaust can get them for you.
