It really wasn't bragging. More of an example that MPG claims are so varied, and mainly because of driving styles. You will have the guy who can't drive anywhere without putting his foot through the floor, drives 8mph over all posted speed limits, idles his truck everywhere he stops, and complains about terrible mileage. Then you have the guy like I quoted who drives 50mph and hypermiles while using the two different types of driving to show why his truck and drivetrain choice is superior. He claimed his brothers 6.4 gets ~10mpg and his father's cummins gets less mpg than his lifted on 35's 1500. I can kinda believe the the cummins as it is a 2012 and the emissions **** on those kills mileage. Delete it and get 4mpg back. But no way a 6.4 gets 10 mpg driving 50mph. Mine was in MDS more than not.

I don't drive 80 kmh, I did it once to see what kind of mileage could be had. I consistently do 90 kmh and constantly get 12L/100 kms.
My cousin gets 10-12 mpg with his 6.4. Fuelly average is 12.7 for that engine. As I mentioned to you earlier it's possible that because the truck has 1000 kms on it he will gain the extra mpg and be on par with what everyone else gets with that truck. Which as stated above is an average of 12.7.
My father does not have a Ram truck. My uncle has a 12 cummins, as I mentioned earlier a few times, it is deleted. I didn't ever say what his mileage is because I don't know. I listed the fuelly average for that engine, which is much better than the 6.4.
Side note - my dad's 2013 F-250 diesel gets slightly better mileage than my truck. Not deleted, only a Bully dog Turner and an AFE intake.
When exactly did I say the 6.4 gets 10 mpg when doing 80 kmh? Please quote it for me so I can see it as I'm sure I wouldn't have ever said that.
Surely when going slower that truck would get better mileage, as any vehicle would. I stated that the overall mpg average of that engine is not great in comparison to the cummins.
