I wonder if it is like the Windows version. When I update Windows it automatically has the key from the previous version. You can try to update via the apk for Android and if you run into an issue then just email Alexey.

2. There is a listing for Dodge Grand Caravan (RT)

Edit: @retep Just opened my Windows version (not connected of course) and did not see an RF hub listed for the Grand Caravan. So this is probably not possible with Alfa? Have you looked online at programming with existing fobs and controls in vehicle. There are some vehicles in which you can do this.

Should be able to update like normal via the Play Store, I had a pre-release version for a bit and it updated (on the previous release) just as the normal app would. But it not, as others have already stated, contact the dev he'll get you straitened out.

Okay, Thanks a lot, I have gone into the apk and tried that, after it stated it was installing an update my version stayed at 2.1.4.0 though, its not showing the 2.1.5

@FDNF Make sure you're completed closing out the program after installing (even though it should anyway upon installation). Force close

No worries! There have been no changes in there. This is what my external disk has always looked like. I remember when looking in the past for the CD option for someone else.

@kad probably hit the nail on the head with the security and the radio? My question is I wonder what the settings are under "radio"?

A bit off topic, but I had to ask. As I understand we can program a FOBIK for the Ram using AlphaOBD and OBDLink MX providing we have the PIN code from a dealer.

1. We can program up to 4 FOBIK's for a Ram. I just want a spare to leave with a friend.
2. Question is will I be able to program a FOBIK for my friends 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan?

Just ordered my MX bluetooth so am looking forward to some projects.

The grand caravan doesn’t have an rf hub. The keys are programmed through the WIN module.

New to the group, just downloaded this software 2 days ago and man is it powerful! Only issue I had is I changed my head lights to hid in the settings and now my headlights don’t turn on, all other lights work as the should. Anyone know the solution? I reversed it how it was and still nothing. Thanks

A new version for Android was released last night. (2.1.5.0). I haven't had time to do more than take a peek, but there's a bunch more modules under the radio section & the BCM section and the BCM "Car Configuration Change" section now has categories in front of all the settings that look like they will match up with the categories in the BCM dumps. Should make it a bit easier to find things.

Note: If you have a pre-release version of 2.1.5.0 installed, the update does not show up. I think I may have to completly un-install and re-install it on the device I have the pre-release on in order to get the full release.

@Ricks Ram - There is now a separate 2014 BCM option. I didn't see anything different from the 13-17 option on a quick perusal though.

My Android updated automatically but my Windows that I purchased last week is 2.0.4 and it shows that the version released 11/25 is 2.0.5.0. How do I access and load that update. I downloaded the APK link and it took me to the Google store like it wanted me to purchase it again.

good news, another forum just posted that alfaobd put in a regen option for the 3.0 ecodiesel to run a force regeneration (DPF) before the truck actually requires it - so you can activate and force a regen whenver you wish!

crapppp, dont have the time to read 278 pages and have already sent 2 emails to the developer of alfaobd about this with no response, but now somebody on another forum says its possible........ shiet.....

guess imma write ANOTHER email and hope I get a response - see if they found the 10x additional things that tie into this as well.

Alexey is very responsive (including responding to me within an hour *on Thanksgiving* no less), have you checked your Spam/Clutter?

I think at the time they were not developing anything for the ecodiesel in the BCM - just because 90% of the 4th gen rams are hemis and slowly will the ecodiesel gain marketshare.

I wrote the emails like early summer time - right when this thread started to take off a couple months back.

Its part of my alfaobd "wishlist" they did scratch off the auto windows down and tpms off my list so yea its being updated improved all the time!

Regardless I will have to write another email, i even copied my email to the OP of this thread to see if he can use his contact and ask my ?? since it seems like he was already in contact with the developers - no update or I may have missed it, but it looks like they did some work to it!
