Well it was an option as he scrolled past on the video above that's why I asked.

Not everything shown in Alfa can be done to our trucks - it's for multiple FCA vehicles so some of it only applies to other models and vice/versa. Only way to know for certain is to try it, unless someone else already has and says go/no go. For instance, global windows up, perf pages, auto fold mirrors, etc we know will not work on our truck.

If you want to try it, make sure you have backed up BCM file on google drive so you can compare and back out if needed. Best case it works, Worst case you will have to have dealer re-flash BCM to stock and start over.

Thanks that's why I asked, 745 pages and a search on here and I didn't come up with anything but I know that someone has thought to try it. If the one who had already knew the answer I wouldn't have to try. If I do try it I will let you know the results.

To my knowledge, no one has messed with the max speed setting or posted up their experience. There were inquiries in the past from @fengfengfeng a member from China but I never heard back.

I remember seeing something on cumminsforum but I don't remember if it was adjusting the max cruise control speed or max speed of the truck.

has anybody successfully used the NEW style RF Hub with the built in antenna on an 2014 truck that takes the one with the external module?
I read some people were talking about it in the keyless entry thread

I used a 2017 RF Hub with internal antenna on a 2016 and was able to add remote start by switching to the wired hood latch and enabling the proper bits in Alfa (and also did the keyless entry stuff as well. $120 for hub and hood latch vs the $650 the dealer wanted... #winning

I can't say it would work on a 2014, although I don't see why it wouldn't.

I think @STecoD did it on his 2015 1500. Not sure if @Ricks Ram did on his 14 1500.

I will add that the 2013 ram 1500 I had previously had a TPMS module near the left foglight that's was seperate from the rf hub. So not sure if it the combined unit will go back that far.

M² Mods.

I put a 2017 hub in my moms 2014 truck and a 2016 in my 2015 truck. Works great. I used the 2016 in my truck because I already had the remote antenna.

I need a little help. I have Morimoto XB LED Headlights installed on a 2015 RAM. As expected on this year RAM, I have a problem with the lights, namely, the low beam lights go out intermittently, come back, go out again after a while... Of course, I get an error message in the truck. I have the resistors, provided by Morimoto which supposed to be used on a 2015 RAM. I haven't installed them yet and would prefer not to install them at all if I can help it. I am aware that it's possible to remedy this problem with AlfaOBD and, supposedly, some folks on this forum have done it. I am looking for any possible information and, even better, instructions on how to do it, please!

When in Alfa under bcm and program custom features.

Go in and find the below

CBC Features Configuration
LED Low Beam Lamps Present:

Put it to SET.

Should help if you have led or if those headlights need led set. I don’t know anything about the headlights you have.

I had installed my HID with resistors etc..

But I have set it to HiD in the hope of having a longer life pf the HID as the pwm is disabled.

Change "LED Front Fog Lamps Present" from No to Yes when installing led bulbs in foglamps. Should be under CBC Features section.
Pardon me. Newbie here. What is "CBC Features Section" and how do i get to it? Have android alpha.

Hey guys I need some help. I installed a camper shell with third brake light. I have the shell light wired to the correct location (Topper CHMSL) and I can even activate it for a few seconds with Alfaobd.

My problem is, I cant get the "Rear Light Out" message to go away every time I start the truck (after I unplug the cab CHMSL because having that brake light go on with a cap is annoying). I used to just deal with the message, but with Alfaobd I should not have to see it anymore.

So I tried the following in various orders/configs:

-Rear Lighting DTC enable: Off
-CHMSL LED: Yes
-Stop Light DTC enable: Off

-CHMSL Circuit/Power DTC?: Off

I did manage to turn the CHMSL on the truck off (cab lights still work). But none of this got rid of my message, even after letting the truck sleep etc. Current configuration is CHMSL plug in, brake light turned off -still get rear light out message (yes bulb is good). Help!

Problem solved. All I had to do was clear the DTC's lol Guess this one doesn't clear with key cycles.
