320 acres. It is necessary. But not with my 20 acres [emoji23][emoji23]. This one’s only for sale because I want another one.

Welp, I only keep 3 horses on my stable..

So we know Redline and PUP have the top stables,

but today QSUD pushed out the old top horse m1 for my third spot. Sorry m1 you served me well for many many years. be that as it may, circumstances are what they are.

Just couldn't resist, walmart 5w30 qsud 17.97 and that beats costco deal m1 deal price, high moly Burla happy.

Yeah Mobil 1 has been good to me too. I use it in everything including my outboard, generator, lawn tractor, and snow blower. My only exception from Mobil 1 has been 5w30 Redline in the Hemi.

Same here. I'd been aware of Redline for a long time, but M1 always worked great in my cars - I couldn't justify the RL expense. But now as a Ram owner, RL 5w30 is in my Hemi and, as long as it performs the way it has been, there's no going back.

Nicely played.

QSUD is definitely robust. The CST Viscosity, pour point, flash point are all better. An I actually like the lower viscosity Index. Not always a good thing to have a lower viscosity Index number but it could very well mean it has slightly less VII’s.

That paired with the moly makes it a fantastic off the shelf oil.

Yikes!! Did mud get past the seals, or is that what gear oil looks like after waaayyy too many miles?

Wow!

I just did a new pinion bearing, pinion seal and some beautiful Redline 75W-90 on the old Ford. It was leaking from old poorly applied RTV. So was leaking in two spots. Mine was pretty gross but nothing like this.

I used the right stuff for gasket maker and I just love that “stuff.”

Next doing Redline MTL in the manual trans. I do love Red Line maybe one day I’ll stop being cheap and put it in the engine.

So check this out, I know this car I have been the only one that ever changed the oil in it since new, so out 500 miles ago was PUP 5w30, in was a mix redline 10w30 and m1 5w20. So 500 miles it was black! I checked it by accident, I had a few spots on the driveway I thought the filter must have a leak, I can still not find any leak but that is another story. So can you think of why it would be black at 500 miles when it was never anything like this? Surely it wasn't the oil?

Here's the thing, I don't think it was. Remember those two spark plugs I took off um 500 miles ago? Well those cylinders must be firing ten times better with the new plugs, that had to release carbon into the oil like nobodies business. So the source of that leak, hopefully just the filter, showed me some really good into to have.

See that oil on the spark plug? Those cylinders must be whack. Gonna Redline s1-1 every tank and shorten the oci for a bit. Just used the QSUD I just bought today. Man, the car really likes that oil, it isn't that feel good stuff either, I mean it is whisper quiet, probably because the cylinders have been whack for a while and now they are being cleaned, but whatever the case qsud is good drink. I bet that redline/m1 did some real good hyper cleaning as well, nothing like new oil to clean up a mess in the cylinder.

you guys remember how I said my wife's car was a rattle trap from day one, well 5w30 probably masked that, but I bet that rattle was those 2 plugs. Since it happened since new and no codes, I just thought it was a rattly 4 bangers. who knew?

who would think to pull plugs in a new vehicle with no codes and seamed to run decent anyhow? But I'm telling you, this is how **** is now fella's. Nobody gives a **** anymore, not even toyota. Buy a new car, pull the plugs just to see.

we figure **** out in this thread, I'm telling ya.

You guys see this ****? Supremium gas commercial, this chaps my hyde. With Shell nitrogen or chevron techron they educate the public on the benefits of the gas, this stuff is just stupid, takes the consumers for being asses. Oh yeah after watching that I can't wait to go spend more money on that product? Never exxon for this guy.

I am terrible at getting pictures as I get going on projects and don’t want to stop.

Tonight I drained the nasty looking tranny fluid. Removed the access plate so I could see how things looked.

Put I back together with some more of “the right stuff.” Sang some New Kids On the Block while using it as always. (If you don’t understand why you are probably too young.) use the video below to learn about them.

Filled it back up with a little over 3 quarts of Redline MTL.

It got to be late so I didn’t take it for a drive right away. Will do tomorrow.
