Been tossing back and forth for about a month now and Im ready to make the call to the dealer for some new tires. The two Im looking at right now for 35x1250x20 are the Atturo Trail Blade MT and the Falken Wildpeak MT's. Ive seen reviews on both and will mostly be on the pavement with some offroad.....thoughts anyone on what to choose or if you have one how do you like it. Thanks guys!

I don't have any experience with the Falken's but my customers love the Atturo Trail Blade M/T's. They do well off road and are suprisingly well mannered for the street.

That is what my customers have told me about them so good luck on your choice.

Walmart has 35x12.5s in the Falken MT the other day for CHEAP. keep an eye out I think it was like 220 each. Not sure why they were so cheap.

I'd like to know how many miles people are getting out of them.
I know that the Artturo tires are made in Texas down by San Antonio.
I currently have a set of Nitto Terra Grappler G2's with about 30K on the them and still look new. No signs of wear.

Wow! I just checked and it wasn’t the 220 but I’ll have to monitor it cause that would be a steal!

I've put almost 10k miles on my falken mt tires 33x11.5r20s , they still look brand new, with hardly any wear, I was nervous about getting these tires but they have been great, they are amazing in snow, no issues in the rain, I live in Maine, about 30 miles on the highway every day, road noise is barely noticeable atleast for MT tires,
I do run them on my stock 20x8 rims at around 32psi,

I purchased mine on simpletire.com897d3d968ef5a848fcd693cddd9e96f7.jpg

Thanks for the info! Are you running spacers at all with the stock rim?

I’m on my second set of G2. First set was good for about 70,000 miles!

If you MPG matters to you, consider the lighter of the two tires.

Currently yes I'm running 1.5 spacers, but they do fit without spacers on 20x8 rims with about 3/8 inch of the upper control arm, but these are 33's

Are you death centered on those two tires ?. I'll go with the Falkens MT between the two just because we're comparing a cheapy tire (Atturo) with a better brand/tire (Falken). If you ought to compare cheap vs cheap, take a quick look at the Kanati Mud Hogs. In 35x12.5x20 they're are just 66lbs. Don't know anything about Atturos but i've seen the Kanati's in action on the trail back when i was doing rock crawling with my Jeep and they did as good as everyone else with more expensive tires on the rocks. From my own experiences i've learned cheap tires are a hit or miss and sometimes being cheap can be a lot more expensive. But if i had to decide on cheap tires i'll do the Kanatis for sure based on my offroad trail observations. They have a 3 ply sidewall and they can take a beating on the rocks for what they are

$215 a tire right now form simpletire.

I'm running the Kanati Trail Hogs right now and they've been awesome tires.
Snow performance is exceptional!
I was thinking of going to the Mud Hog next time.
That being said I've been a fan of the Falken Wildpeak MTs previously.

I think I'll stay with the Nitto brand but want/need a super aggressive mud type tread and in a 37-13.5/20 I know a high priced tire in the future.

FWIW, I originally got Atturo XTs for my Ram and they were horribly out of round, ended up returning them and getting a set of Cooper ST Maxx's.

Unless it strictly a trail type rig, I wont gamble on cheap tires again.

The Nitto Mud Grapplers were my favorite tire. That said, they wore quick, were very expensive and were sketchy in the rain (Just like all the Mickeys I ran). I did love that they sounded like a Cessna coming down the street (love loud tires, stereos and exhausts).
As for Atturo I had the XT’s and they were absolutely terrible. I can’t say anything about the MT’s, but I would pass on the brand again.
When it comes to less expensive tire brands, you would be surprised what is good. I feel like all the negative feedback comes from those that run plain jane AT’s or HT’s. I can’t stand the way they look on a lifted truck, it just looks stock to me.
I’m running Federal Couragia’s now and they have been absolutely great for a mud tire (Under $200 a tire for 35’s from Walmart).
