WOW Smiley you really put the kibosh on this thread. No comments at all yesterday? Everybody went speechless I reckon!
Anyway I changed the gear oil in my Challenger yesterday morning with Redline 75W90 and man does that stuff smell weird........smells like it came from one of the chemical plants I used to work at. Not necessarily a bad smell but not even close to any gear oil I've used in the past and I've done this a time or two. Also changed the oil in the wifes Explorer (QSUD 5W20/Napa Platinum filter)and rotated the tires. Today I guess I really need to move on to more unpleasant **** like pressure washing the house or mabe push it off another day.
If you ever end up with gear whine from that Challenger like those of us on solid cradle mounts or using Poly/Delrin bushings then move it up to the RL75W110. It helps a ton in that ZF diff when they end up sounding like a race car on that 75W85 or 75W90 without having to step up to 75W140. LSD still locks up right and it actually does better through a corner when it comes to locking/unlocking.
That's interesting Joshua, might have to do that to the wifes new toy
I did consider that but its pretty quiet for the most part so I wasn't too concerned about it at this point. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the manual 5.7 powered Challengers were the only ones that came with limited slip. Not sure about the Scatpacks and higher models. I read somewhere that they have some kind of traction control assisted anti spin thing going on but not an actual LS rearend. I will consider the 75W140 in the future but that won't be anytime soon. It was a PITA trying to get the car somewhat level to get all the old **** out and I had to use a drill operated pump to get the Redline in there. First time ever I wasn't able to just squeeze the **** out of the bottle to get it in there. If you ever end up with gear whine from that Challenger like those of us on solid cradle mounts or using Poly/Delrin bushings then move it up to the RL75W110. I'm pretty sure the Scatpacks use a limited slip if they don't come through with the conventional open diff. I know my wifes 1320 will lay twin blackies for damn near a block if you launch it off the tranny brake, lol. Here's a short little 1 minute video on what a 1320 is.

Joshua is this the Redline you're using?

Yup that's the stuff. I don't think I've seen any of the 392 or 6.2 equipped cars without the ZF LSD. I know for sure my SPS has an LSD.
I have to make a trip into my local speed shop on Friday to pick up a set of Mickey drag radials for the wifes 1320,so i'm going to look and see if they have it in stock and grab a couple bottles if they do.Thanks for the heads up on the 75W-110,i wouldn't have looked for it with out that tip.I owe you one again Joshua, lol.I tried to get the rear seat delete kit when she bought her car a month ago,and apparently it's back ordered till Dec 2020,if you track the factory seat delete kit down, please let me know where you found it,lol. have you found this guy ,he makes a bypass harness to kill the airbag light if you pull the front pass seat, and another one for the washer fluid bottle if you run it empty or remove it.Scroll down a bit and you'll see the bypass harness.

Yea I've seen some of those harnesses, but I'll probably never pull the passenger seat cause it would end up getting stuck in my storage forever never to be put back in again lol.
I was probably going to run the speedlogix seat delete so I don't feel bad about cutting a $500 OEM part to fit the harness bar in. If you didn't need a Demon VIN for the demon parts I'd be tempted to get the OEM Demon delete that has the provision for the bar mount, otherwise the speedlogix bar is identical without the Demon logo.
Probably won't be doing it for a while since currently every spare dollar I have is going to the brokerage account

I did see their kit,but if I was to do a rear seat delete,i'd rather do the Mopar version with the mesh hold down etc.

Yup that one is alot cleaner looking, but knowing me I'd probably botch the cut job to pass the harness bar through and be pissed at how it looks lol.
Maybe it is time to start a new Synthetic oil thread....

I wanted to run the Redline 75W110 in the rear diff of the Jeep but could not find it in Calgary.
Mopac did not have it if you are going there.
I ended up mixing the 75W90 and the 75W140 to get what I wanted.
Usually I do deal with Bill at Mopac, but big Fino at JB's beat Bills price on a set of Mickey drag radials,so I was going to see what they had in stock. Thanks for the heads up Grizzstang, saves the drive over to Mopac if JB's doesn't have it.If nothing else it's not a high priority at the moment so there is lots of time to order it online. If I order it online do you want any, easy enough to bring in a couple extra bottles if you want a couple.
