Clearly the trans is a POS and who ever rebuilt it did a bad job I would contact ebay stop wasting your time yank it and send it even if you get it to work probly wont last long.

OOOR Sell it and buy a hemi:p:D

So your thinking alphas quicklearn or relearn could be the culprit? Im asking because im thinking of upgrading my 65rfe VB to the sonnax one and was wanting to use alpha as my relearn tool.

I'm sure you've probably looked at this already but does the main trans connector have any bent or corroded pins?

Nope, and the codes stayed the same with 2 different solenoid packs, although, with the white solenoid pack the codes except for 882 appeared twice.

Not saying it is but you can change things with alpha that can cause havoc......that's why saving screenshots of data before changes are recommended to reverse just in case.
Otherwise you have to have original oem flash by dealership.

Shows how much i know. I thought there was only one solenoid pack and that's attached to the VB which in turn is plugged into the main wiring harness. Glad you got it worked out. Hope there was no other damage while you were correcting their mistake.

That's great!!

Which solenoid pack was shorted? I thought you had switched them at one point?

It was the 2nd gear clutch pressure sensor, shorted on both. I replaced it with another gray sp and it worked fine. Hoping it didn’t do any damage and that the metal in the pan was from the break in, but it’s shifting fine, not overheating, and it’s providing weirdly good gas mileage (25MPG) at 55.
