Awesome jobFRONT MARKER LIGHTS:
I wound up getting a piece of 1/4x5 alum flat stock, cut 2-1/4” holes in it for (6) 2” LED lights, put a radius on the bottom corners, then bought a piece of 1/16” ABS chrome faced plastic with adhesive back and applied it to my 1/4 x 5 flat stock, and mounted the lightbar between the uprights on my grill guard, clear lens amber lights
What brand did you go with? They look great!
Good looking truck! I love that hood! Here’s another pic at dusk w the new front lightbar I built
Any thoughts on clearance lights on the roof? Here’s another pic at dusk w the new front lightbar I built
It’s an APM Ram hood and I put blue LED light strip in the scoop. It was very expensive but adds a good look to this truckGood looking truck! I love that hood!
Sorry…still figuring out where to answer people from. I think I am too afraid of drilling holes in my roof. Do you have any thoughts on that?Any thoughts on clearance lights on the roof?
Totally understand.Sorry…still figuring out where to answer people from. I think I am too afraid of drilling holes in my roof. Do you have any thoughts on that?
I zoomed in on your profile pic and your clearance lights look great, also a big thumbs up for the flag on your roof. For best results, I would definitely go with the factory kit like you didTotally understand.
I did the lights myself. There's an old carpenter tip...... "measure twice, cut once". In this case I measured 3 times, and drilled once. The installation was actually pretty easy, and I thought straight forward. I got the Ram OEM set, which does come with a template that was really the key to where to drill and position the lights. I've not have any issue whatsoever 3+ years later
In my case, it always seems to be, "I cut it twice and it's still too short."There's an old carpenter tip...... "measure twice, cut once".
