You guys are making me really mad!!! Seeing all those amazing looking steaks and burgers have my mouth watering and I can't really have that stuff anymore. I have some bad things going on health wise that make it really hard for me to digest fatty foods, but damn that all looks and sounds amazing!!!
Brother, I'll sacrifice myself for you, and eat double the portion ;)

Give hydrolyzed chia a try man, and a lean top sirloin, you are good unless you have that thing where you cant eat beef. Chia survives the stomach process so it hydrates the bowel. Think miralax only natural and good for you.

Fill a cup 20% full of chia seeds, fill it up hot water and stir, watch the show in seconds the seeds soak up all that water.

^^ This!
Chia is some good stuff!!!
This and hemp hearts, and flaxseed are fantastic for the body!
As @Burla indicated, one must soak the chia seeds so they get all jelly like, for them to properly work (and taste good).
Personally, I soak them the night before so they are good and prepped.
Sometimes the hot water can activate them too quickly (from what my health person has indicated) and not allow them to fully release all their nutritional goodness for the body to fully absorb.

Do the same here............
I like the reverse sear method
Depending on size of steak .....45-60 minutes in oven at 200° then sear with cast iron griddle or pan 1-2 minutes a side.
Needs to be dark pink on the inside not ****** red or brown.

I was gonna buy a 2022 Sierra 1500 with the 5.3 with the AFM/DFM not installed, making the engine almost bullet proof, but Dealer would not come off the 63K MSRP. Since my RAM paid off, that would have stuck me with at least a 30-35K vehicle note, going from a paid off to a financed vehicle. Made no sense, lmao.
When I lost my 1st truck, I was tempted to get a Chevy or GMC 1500 as a replacement with the insurance payoff. Glad I didn't. Don't get me wrong. The GM trucks were impressive in specs, but just didn't feel right. Sitting in the cab, the materials felt cheap and the seating position was comfortable, but didn’t feel right. You’re seated low in cab which means visibility when going off road was difficult if you’re my height. It just didn’t feel like home to me.
The current Chevy 1500 is the best looking of the all the latest 1/2 ton trucks IMO, but I still wouldn't get one over a Ram 1500 Rebel.

Same here, the GM seats don't feel comfortable to me after riding in Ram's since 2012. I've even lost weight, but their seats are narrow and pinch. I don't travel cross country anymore, but even so an hour or two would hurt, I can tell.

Tomorrow, taking the Ram and pulling 1st travel trailer. Up to now, I had a motorhome, but downsized to a travel trailer instead. I had towed a heavy utility trailer and boat with the Ram. Weighed it at a CAT truck scale, trailer is 5,800 lbs with propane and water. Truck is just right for towing it.

Got transmission switched over mostly to Red Line C+ATF, got rid of the dumb cooler thermostat last year. Towing it so far in 4th gear no MDS and tow shift program, trans oil is no hotter per EVIC. Perfect! Engine oil is 8 degrees hotter running there, but still not hot @ 228 F running Red Line 5W-30.

All the prep work has bad off, thanks to the members of this Forum.

I still vote RL HP 5W30 and Rp 20-820 oil filter... but my HEMI is a princess and has grown fond of this combo now.

Thanks Ram Forum Members.... my truck is now all boujie... LOL....
Bacon grease... THAT's THE lubricant for highest level of confidence! And, an added bonus is the waft of Mother's home cooking as you drive! What could go wrong!? ;)

Tried this one today, very mild, good for breakfast steaks maybe even chicken or fish. Not really a fan but I can see it for some folks. Reminds me of what you see on fish or chicken rather then a steak. 6-7 outta ten still pleasant but lacks definition, no smoke no heat no bbq flavor, more oniony then bbqy. The pepper and jalapeno saves it but not enough imo. Sits on top of the meat really works with the crust, but doesnt migrate in like the bbq.

The switch back to amsoil SS 0W40 is still treating me well. This run is with the stock sized filter, Fram Ultra Synthetic and 7.5 quarts.
Still only about 4,000 miles on this oil but im changing it at 5-6 anyway. Im not running to 8,000 anymore.

Corey and Kyle done turned amsoil on me.
Could not help it. :emotions133:
The price increases of oil + all the different stuff I need to maintain….Amsoil and their PC discount saves me a boat load if I do big orders. Last order s spent like $500 in one order for both trucks, motorcycle, and a few other things to do lots of service on. But the PC discount made it $100+ less than original prices. And the yearly subscription is $16

I'm with you on the Amsoil. I thought about using their SS 0W-30 for winter and 5W-30 for summer but for now I'm still using 0W-40 year round and doing 5,000 mile OCI's. I had a bad experience with two RP filters so I am done with them and currently using the Fram Ultra XG2. Engine runs smooth and quiet. Even in Alaska I make a call to Amsoil to place my order and it is ready for pickup in about an hour. To each their own, of course, and there is certainly more than one good option for oil and filters out there. But this has worked well for me for many thousands of miles so why change.
