I can't stand driving around a billboard and when correcting paint, badges are nothing but a menace. I know what it is, I don't care if anyone else does. When Chrysler starts paying me for advertising space, I'll put them back.

My dealer put those god forsaken decals on my tailgate. What's the best way to get those off? I was really pissed when I realized it.

When I brought my truck a few weeks I specificity told them i do want any stickers (dealership name) on the tailgate. Heck, I do no want his license plate cover. If did it i would end the deal. He remove them. I would take it back have them remove them. :)

Ordered some Dr.Colorchip this AM. I've got to get the bare metal covered soon!

Also ordered a catch can from Matt at Moes.

Just received an email from VOTS asking me to fill out a survey regarding my factory order experience. I answered on behalf of all of us, and didn't hold back with my comments

Good. I did the same. Hopefully they have received others and the data will tell them the system sucks.

Just got my 2013 Sport w/8 speed monday night, love the 8 speed but don't like the rotary shifter (but I'll get over it), I miss my console shifter! As for the dealer decal, if it's an emblem you can use fishing line or if it's one like they put on mine, are vynil sticker, I am going to try "goof off" to see how easy that get's it off. They also sell vynil sticker remover you can use.

Yea I flat out said they need significant improvement to the system, otherwise they'd be better off with nothing at all. I also said that their CS reps are either well trained liars or are not privy to any information which would make them useful.

Yea mine is a vinyl sticker, which really is ******* me off now that I remembered I had the Simonize glass coating put on at the dealership, which was probably done AFTER they put that stupid sticker on.

Here's how I did it. It truly IS this easy...

For vinyl lettering, you can pick up a decal remover wheel that will wipe them right off in seconds. Think of it as a big round eraser you put on a drill. I used it to take off the adhesive left after wheel balancing and it did it in NO time. :)

I told them to do nothing to the truck but what they're legally obligated to do. Hell, they didn't even take the floor mats out of the bag or put the bed divider in the back.

I also don't have a front plate. I have the bracket, but they didn't install it. No dealer lettering or plate surrounds. LOVE IT!

NY requires a front plate I believe, and I don't mind the plate surrounds nearly as much as that vinyl lettering!

I had been meaning to get an eraser wheel in case I decide to debadge, so I just ordered a couple off Amazon with some adhesive remover and plastic razor blades. I still haven't decided if I want to debadge though...with my color choice on a sport, I actually don't mind the little bit of chrome accenting that the badges and the side steps give the look. We'll see though...when the mod itch gets strong again if I still can't buy the vararam and TB, I'll probably wind up doing it as a sort of "mod e-cigarette" haha.

Don't bother using the eraser wheels on the badge leftovers. Do like the video I posted. SO easy!

I didn't mind the badges as much as I thought, but I HATE the Hemi badge. It's a marketing thing and I get that, but I don't need it to say it on the truck. IMO, it's as over used as the word "epic".

I'd love some black or graphite colored hash marks though.

Front plates are required here too.

Yep. I told them I didn't want a dealer plate on the front of mine since the holes weren't drilled yet and if they did, they could buy me a new front bumper. And then I told them not to wash it or detail it since the last truck I bought they scratched the **** out of the paint. Pissed off the sales manager, but hey, my money, my truck. Lol.

Spent a few hours on it tonight. Full interior conditioning, fixed one of the RamBox's that failed to open (fingers crossed it's fixed), debadged, and installed the tailgate shock. Found one chip in the paint above the tail light which is already rusting too! NICE! I see the Chrysler quality is shining on this one!

I debadged the whole truck in 15 minutes. I have a trick way of removing the stickers and MAN is it easy.

The exterior now needs washed, clayed and sealed.

Oh, I removed the cover on the engine. No need to trap MORE heat in the intake plenum. Less heat soak is better.

Congrats!! Love the white sports. That air suspension is awesome! Only thing I wish they would have done to the 13's was make the 3rd brake light led as well. Looks out of place with the new led taillights.

DAMNIT! The winch on the damn ATV did some damage to the paint on the back of the cab! It must have slipped a bit at some point in the bed and rubbed against it the whole way home. Can't wait to see what the estimate will be for this...the paint is damaged, the plastic piece at the bottom of the rear center window is dented, and the rear window is scratched to ****. Since I was doing my bro a favor, he's paying for it, but it still sucks less than two weeks in!!!
