YUP, only issues are the 3 recalls. I have had 2 done, one pending. The only thing I would do over would be to get a slightly higher trim level, but I have no regrets. I got my Bighorn level 2 options for $12,500.....(Would think of getting all blacked out model if I live in a slightly cooler place than TX)
ADDED: Now, U not gonna tow like U can with the 2500. So if U tow real big, U need to stay with the 2500, the 1500 can do but U be maxing out for sure.
All above IMHO....
I currently have a ‘16 ram 2500 and really like this truck. I have had very few issues. I am thinking about getting a ‘19 Ram and have seen several posts about issues with the 19 model. Are their any 19 owners that are happy with their purchase?
Since I finally fixed the a/c with no thanks to FCA, I can finally enjoy the rest of the vehicle. Love the feel and torque of the 5.7L and the smooth 8 speed transmission. It's quiet, smooth, with a nice entertainment system, and no high RPM turbo buzzing/drama while accelerating.
what was wrong with the a/c?
I wondered about that. I have to have fan cranked 3/4 the way up for the air comin out of the vent to reach 40 degrees. My 15 Ram would blow 40 degrees on the 2nd setting of the fan. Thought it was just my truck.Poor a/c output temperature. My output temps were down at least 12 degrees from normal. You can reference numerous threads on the other ram forum but in a nutshell FCA apparently changed the design. It's a hot/cold air blending issue. Some say the classic Ram had an electronic controlled water valve between water pump and the in-dash heater core whereas the current doesn't. The $15 hack is adding a valve control on the hot water output from the water pump. See the other ram forum for solution including part numbers.

Thanks!
