After reading various threads here and watching some YT videos, I decided that the job was easily within my skill set.
I did not encounter anything unusual. The throttle body itself was pretty clean @77K. It did have some deposits on it so since it was apart, I went on ahead and cleaned it. I used CRC throttle body cleaner spray, Q-tips, an old toothbrush and some paper shop rags. The deposits would get soft after spraying but still took some scrubbing to remove them.
I took the usual precautions and held the electronics/motor side of the body up so nothing would drain into them as I sprayed the cleaner in it.
Disconnecting the MAF sensor cable was more difficult than I expected. The retaining clip on the underside of the connector needs to be REALLY depressed to release the connector.
I'd say the most difficult portion of the job was replacing the plastic engine cover back onto the engine. The 4 retaining tabs have to be coaxed a little to get them to line up with their respective rubber grommets.
I did the job in approx 1.5 hours.
